Life here moves at the perfect pace. It's slow enough for neighbours to chat over white picket fences, but fast enough for rumours to travel from one end of town to the other before sunset. Split neatly between the glittering waterfront of Rosewood Bay and the tree-lined streets of Rosewood Heights, the town thrives on a quiet rivalry that has existed for generations. Rosewood Bay sits closest to the water. Big homes with wide windows that watch the harbor. Old money. Sailboats. Champagne glasses clinking on cedar decks while the sun sets over the Atlantic. Up the hill is Rosewood Heights. Narrower streets. Smaller porches. Kids’ bikes tossed in driveways and basketball hoops over garage doors. Hard work lives in the heights, pride too. But the truth is … everyone overlaps. Despite their differences, the people of Rosewood are tightly woven together. Their kids grow up in the same classrooms, play on the same sports teams and fall in and out of love at the same parties. Parents share history stretching back decades … friendships, grudges and a few secrets that were supposed to stay buried. Because in a town this small, nobody is ever really alone. The barista knows your business before you’ve finished ordering, the neighbours notice when your car comes home late, and one whispered rumour can ripple through both sides of town overnight. Beneath the polite smiles and friendly waves, the quiet competition between Rosewood Bay and Rosewood Heights never truly fades. After all, in Rosewood, everyone knows everyone … and someone is always watching.
