This is Olivia one of my previous fosters, I made this video back in May.. just thought I'd share it on here as well. Please spread this around to show the truth about what happens to shelter dogs, etc. People aren't aware of what really goes on.. I'm hoping this opens peoples eyes. Even though, this video sort of captures happy moments.. she actually had a very hard journey. If it wasn't for ignorant irresponsible people she would have 1. never ended up pregnant with god knows how many litters. 2. she would have never ended up in the kill shelter PREGNANT and next to be euthanized. 3. wouldn't have to go through bouts of kennel cough and put her babies in danger of getting sick.  Olivia has been adopted by an amazing family, as well as all of her puppies. 

I start off like every puppy cute and small, but when I grow up to be big and tall, I'm not accepted..at all. My head is big and my body is thick but all that means is I'm not an adopters first pick. I sit in shelters for days upon days, waiting for my loving family to take me away- but instead I am treated like I never mattered. My hopes and dreams of a home are shattered. I am forced to be put to "sleep" but why? I'm not old, I'm not weak. It must be my appearance, it must be the bad things people say. But, I promise you I am not that way. So please, don't judge me by first glance. I promise you'll love me if you just give me one chance..
