All Things Giant and Tiny!

Like what if a giant is going to watch a horror movie with their tiny friend, but their friend is really terrified of horror movies but is too nervous to say no. And then they get to a really scary part and the tiny is shaking and about to cry and the giant realizes what’s going on. So the giant just immediately turns off the TV, cradles the tiny against their chest and starts whispering comforts to them. “Sweetheart, I’m so sorry. Why didn’t you tell me? Shhhh, you’re okay now. It’s not real. No, darling, don’t worry, we don’t have to watch a movie. We can just stay like this and I’ll protect you. Does that sound good? Good.”

Fear play… Oh DO NOT START ME ON THIS PLEASE, I will never stop!!

Star-gazing G/t couple/friends?

Tiny knows some stuff about the science behind the stars and other sights in the sky (I mean, they WOULD have an interest in the biggest things in existence hurhur) and goes on at high chattering speed explaining each object the giant points out

Giant listens intently, kind of amused as well by the excitement and shine in the tiny’s eyes as they talk about the sky

It’s late at night so it’s gonna be cold! Tiny bundles up as well as they can but still their breath comes out steamy and they shiver as they hop about showing off the night sky to their giant friend. Giant notices their little friend’s shaking arms as they point up and scoops them up into their arms, snuggling them close and warm.

Now not only is the tiny warm, they can more easily be seen and heard by the giant AND are just a little closer to the stars.

The giant is mystified and awed by the experience of staring up at something so vast, of feeling so small themselves - they wonder if that’s like how the tiny sees them

Also, more mundanely, giant gets a crick in the neck from the odd act (for them) of looking up for so long - ALSO wonders if this is a problem for the tiny in everyday life and makes a mental note to get down on their level more frequently

They decide to lie down on the grass after both getting weary of standing/craning their necks up. The tiny is placed on the giant’s chest and covered by a blanketing hand. They continue to point out and talk about the lights scattered in the darkness above them, the giant feeling the little body under their fingers, the free little hand grip one of their blanketing digits as they lean forward to show off a nebula’s location, the tiny feeling the vibrations of the giant’s words under them, the chest resonating with the deep voice as it questions what that light over there is.

It gets very late. The tiny is starting to slow in their speech and quiet as they lose energy. The giant notices and holds them tighter, asking if they should turn in. The tiny insists they are NOT! TIRED!!!

But is definitely tired look they just yawned and slumped back on the giant’s chest as if it were a huge bed.

The giant stands and shakes the night dew from their clothes and hair, still grasping the tiny close in their hand, holding them against their warm chest in the chilly air. The tiny thanks them for listening and keeping them warm and now for carrying them home - they don’t want to admit it, but they’re so tired they may collapse if they tried to walk at this hour.

The giant thanks them! They told them so much about the stars, about galaxies and the universe!

height n body type difference are my fave things about elves n dwarves that the lotr movies just didnt do justice for imo but with live action its hard to pull that stuff off

a human and a fairy

like you’d think I’d be imagining a human on a hike in a forest going around a tree but

the first thing i pictured is like a fairy that wanted to move to the city and experience human city life so they put an ad out on the internet and somehow ended up rooming with a human that was chill about it?

and anyway

they’re both quietly rushing about the apartment getting their own errands and chores done and they round a corner through a doorway at the same time and the human just gets a face full of fairy smacked into them

“ah! get your nose out of my crotch!”
