6. Donna. She's thriving. I think Donna's specific brand of hyperawareness of people's perceptions of her would translate well into recognising what appeals to consumers. She also gets to exert her creativity which is a bonus. Downside is that she's prone to overworking herself but she's employee of the month every month which has to count for something, right? (She tells herself this through gritted teeth)

5. Kory. She enjoys interacting with people and customers are drawn to her warmth, which makes her very successful. However, as soon as she clocks out she's completely unreachable and will ignore any attempts at contact bc this job isn't THAT important. I think she has many other hobbies that she partakes in and is generally very active during the weekend. I was also playing with the idea that she's still an alien, in which case everything is new and exciting to her. I think she doesn't necessarily love her job and would be happier doing something that was more meaningful, but she doesn't hate the work and likes the people she's surrounded with.

4. Vic. He would rather not be in an office job but this is where he landed up after his accident. At first, he was just working to have something to do, but now he's made some good friends and realised that since this job is easy for him, it leaves him with a lot more energy for other pursuits (e.g. volunteer work on weekends)

3. Gar. He wanted to be a movie star but his adoptive father is forcing him to intern at his stupid company. He was happily surprised to find many beautiful women here and often tries to make small talk with them, but Donna doesn't appreciate the distraction and has taken to sending him on coffee runs to increasingly obscure and distant cafés whenever he tries to talk to her or the other women for too long. Kory quickly caught on to what Donna was doing and contributes in her own way by ordering a different drink each time (usually the strangest one on the menu).

2. Dick. He's bored out of his mind and hates the 9 to 5 lifestyle, but at least he's putting his degree to use and making a living away from home (au where he finished university). Every once in a while he goes to the building's roof and stands on the edge just to feel something.
