Hey gang. It’s been a little bit since I’ve posted and I apologize!  But I’m finally able to share some very exciting news, that I’ve been internally screaming about for awhile:  Kamala Khan will be in her first animated appearance in Avengers: Ultron Revolution on Disney XD.

It's been exactly one year since we sent issue one of Ms. Marvel to the printers. What an exciting day that was! The nerves, the hope, the bitten nails of anticipation! At this moment in time last year, we had no idea what to expect what the next year would bring. We just wanted people to like it.

And so here we are one year later: On Best of lists, having Kamala Kosplays, sparking a dialogue about minority and female representation in comics.. This was beyond our dreams.  Thanks for believing in us and supporting us.  We're with you fo life, homies.

And in one-year anniversary fashion, we'll be giving you the traditional gift: Paper!  The anticipated issue 11 is on sale 2/5/14, one year to the date of issue #1.  It's a doozy and a concluding issue in the "Generation Why" story arc.  Also Kamala's hair gets awesome.

Ms. Marvel Volume 1 TPB is for the second week in a row, #2 on the New York Times' graphic novels bestseller's list.  It also was the best-selling graphic novel in October.

Almost one year to the announcement, the Ms. Marvel collected edition trade paperback is ON SALE!  I got my copy and luckily Willow happened to be in the office, so it's also SIGNED.

It's pretty perfect timing, too.  Post New York Comic Con, we really felt the Ms. Marvel love and how much of an impact the series has been for so many of you. Thank you so much for keeping us strong, for keeping us going.  You are the reason positive change is happening in this industry.  You are all Ms. Marvel!

You know what's even cooler?  When you have an idea for something and then suddenly you see it realized on the floor of a comic convention. Fully realized and looking pretty bad-ass:

And of course hanging with Willow herself, made the weekend COMPLETE.

Gone but not forgotten, Kamala Korps!  I just got back from my motherland aka a trip to the Bangalore Convention, and MAN do they love them some Ms. Marvel!

A few weeks ago, we announced that Ms. Marvel #1 is getting its SIXTH PRINTING.  Wowza.  If you aren't already aware, that's pretty historic.  Simultaneously, issue 2 is getting a 4th printing and issues 4 and 5 are getting their 2nd printing.  We're elated, not only because it seems like we're selling out, but because people are walking into their COMIC SHOPS to buy what is sure to be a collectible series.   And for that, we thank you.

Issue 7 is on sale 8/20.  Adrian Alphona returns with issue 8 (sneak peeks to come.)
