We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.

Being in love is a very strange thing. Your thoughts constantly drift towards this other person, no matter what you’re doing. You could be reaching for a glass in the cupboard or brushing your teeth or listening to someone tell a story, and your mind will just start drifting towards their face, their hair, the way they smell, wondering what they’ll wear, and what they’ll say the next time they see you.

He’s something special. He’s not like the others. He’s confident. It’s very satisfying to speak to someone who loves themselves. He’s a believer. He believes in himself, and he believes in me. He’s gentle. He doesn’t force anything. His gentle fingertips enter locked with mine are enough to relax me. He’s smart. He applies himself to everything, and isn’t careless with his work He’s caring. This is the most important. He cares about me. He cares about my well being. He wants me to succeed and wants my happiness So yes, you may say he’s different from the rest…. But, he is the kind of “different” that makes it almost impossible not to fall in love with him and all that he is.

I don’t have to be in love to know you’re the only person I want to kiss me awake for the rest of my life. You’re the only one I want to travel with, aside from my friends and family. You’re the only one I want to buy a house with, make mistakes with, fall in love with.

Part of falling in love with someone is actually falling in love with yourself. Realizing that you’re gorgeous, you’re fearless and unpredictable, you’re a firecracker spitting light, entrancing a hundred faces that stare up at you with starry eyes.

I loved him. Not for the way he looked, or because I wanted to fix his troubled ways, but because just a simple smile brought meaning to my life. Because i trusted him with every bone in my body when I couldn’t even trust myself. I wanted nothing more than him, and that scared the shit out of me.

I could wake up every morning to you sleeping next to me and still fall more in love with you every time.
