Venom
Fandom: Pokemon | Setting: Lumiose, ~10 years after XY | Relationship: Corbeau x Hallie (Expanded Protag) | Rated: M | Chapters: 6/~35 | Wordcount: 23k | Author: AlliiumFlower
Story Summary:
Hallie survived Area Zero, but the nightmares followed her home that day. Even from the safety of her life in Lumiose City, the past still haunts her. It never stopped.
When she follows a suspicious stranger into a dark alley and freezes, it nearly costs her her life. That is until she’s pulled back to safety by someone she never expected:
Corbeau Karasuba.
After that, he’s everywhere. Or perhaps she’s the one orbiting him.
Either way, Hallie can’t stop thinking about the man the papers slander: the cold, broody syndicate leader people cross the street to avoid.
But Hallie sees a heart beneath it all; she sees a softness he refuses to acknowledge.
When she gets too close and dares to call him gentle, Corbeau shows her just how wrong she is.
Hallie learns that Corbeau is fighting an underground criminal organisation, and once she catches wind of it, she can’t let it go. She involves herself, follows him into that hidden world, and Corbeau doesn’t stop her; he knows she’s more than capable. Working side by side brings them closer, danger binding them in ways neither of them will admit.
But while their bond tightens its grip and temptation becomes impossible to ignore, Urbain is hiding a secret from those closest to him, and secrets always come out in the end.
This one is buried deep. Deeper than the secrets he kept before.

Chapter Seven is up! 🩷
Teaser Snippet (TW: graphic violence!):
He didnt stop, not for a breath, not for a second. His fist came down again, over and over, unrelenting. The man’s nose cracked under the impact, blood spilling bright and sticky across his face, running in rivulets down his stubbly, fat jaw.
Chapter Eight is up! 💓
Teaser Snippet:
Urbain hugged back immediately, all gentle and warm like he always was, and he held me in such a way that my face ended up buried in his shoulder. I always seemed to land there when things went wrong... He smelled like clean laundry and the deep sleep he hadn’t even gotten to savour yet, and my body relaxed before my brain could catch up with it. By now, after all the things we'd been through, after all the hugs we'd had, it felt like home.
