I also have reservations about the FA biopic because of that reason. But I'm confused about how it got greenlit if it was on Fred's will like wouldn't his estate or family lawyers be suing or something? But somehow there's been two biopics for him in the works for years.

Fred’s widow has apparently threatened to sue and has been fighting to protect his wishes, which is so sad to think about, as well as other members of the estate. But I looked into it, and apparently a film about a celebrity falls under america’s first amendment, which protects the right to free speech. Because of that, the studios just have to be careful that they don’t defame his memory and can’t claim that the biopic is official. Guess being a celebrity really means giving up a piece of yourself for good…

But tbh, even though I know hollywood doesn’t care about the moral and ethical implications like that, I still don’t understand why they think it’s worth the hassle, it better be the best biopic to ever exist

Empire magazine comes out tomorrow. What do you think we should expect? I was sure a trailer would come out first so they could announce Sadie's role. Now I don't know what to expect: will Sadie's role be announced in the magazine or will they keep her role a secret? I'm also expecting more details about the plot.

I’m not sure, but that one twitter account that managed to get ahold of the empire issue early didn’t mention anything about sadie’s role reveal, so my guess is that’s not happening yet. Hopefully we do get a new trailer though
