“Well, we do have a few rare species, and a few others are also quite dangerous.”

“Well, no. I was referring to the fact that you just banged your chin on the ground.”

“Oh, that? That was completely and utterly intentional.”

“I’ve been running at least once every week since I was fifteen, usually on this path, and you’re telling me this now?”

"Well, this is like the third or fourth time I see you around.. I was hoping that maybe you’d get better, but...”

She laughs, “If that’s your system, who am I to judge?” Then, “Ah, but fireworks can leave such a sorry stain, can’t they? I’m not sure which I prefer, exactly, but right now I’m plenty happy with the skating by. Sorry to disappoint.”

“Hey, all is good. It’s your choice how to live your life after all.”

“You really need a more exciting life.”

“It is exciting when I’m around plants.”

“Yeah? You’re full of shit.”

“it is, but this one lass I met had it like all dried out with salt on top which was a bit better, tasted kinda like ready salted crisps”

“I don’t think I would make myself taste that though.”

“I know, right?”

“Without a doubt.”

“Anyways, how have you been Alice?”

“Getting my hands dirty like always.”

“ya’ don’t want too. It’s like seaweed”

“Sounds disgusting.”

“Want the rest of mine? Toast is preferable, anyway, how anyone stomachs the porridge when this jam exists is beyond me.” She shrugs, buttering herself a third piece as she thinks of how to answer the question, “Same old, I’m doing alright.”

“It’s good, and healthy, and, since people usually take something else, all mine,” she chuckled. “That’s a bit boring. I was expecting some fireworks or something.”

“No, sorry. I can’t exactly watch myself while I run.” Teddy replied with slight annoyance, “You’re gonna have to be more specific?”

“Exactly. We can all see you so we know what we’re talking about, Lupin. Running is not for you.”

“Oh, okay… If you’re sure. I don’t know how I could survive without breakfast, though,” Gabriella smiles and tries to lighten the mood. 

“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so I’m not going to miss it. I’ll just get myself something else...”
