another photo because i'm frickin' in love with my dang tattoo and how it has (already!) improved my self-esteem & body positivity. if anyone else out there is considering tattoos to sit alongside your own battle scars - do it! (safely and after much consideration.. i am forever a cautious hufflepuff) getting this done helped me realize the dissonance between who i am and who i was. i feel comfortable in my skin. i get excited to look at a space on my body i used to consciously avoid. i look at this photo and feel pride, i see something i genuinely want to share with the world. (isn't that awesome?! woohoo!) so: thank-you to supernatural for giving me the idea, & thank-you to the lovely artist Murray who made it happen!

a demon blade for my battle scars (because i am a badass warrior!) it's not exactly the correct script but i am still SO happy with how it turned out :)
