Travel Facts 101:Canada vs USA 1. Now I know why it's called "southern heat". It's freakin hot. Day or night I was melting but then again I would take that over snow any day. 2. People are so Nice! No one is in a rush compared to Calgary. They greet you with "ma'am" or "baby". 3. Alcohol is way cheaper. They free pour and drinks are super strong. $2.50 beers = winning 4. The music in Nashville is outstanding. Even dodgy bars had great performers. I guess that's why they call it music city. 5. The freeway! Omg is a lifesaver! I never once encountered "rush hour traffic". 6. The FOOD. I'm pretty sure I gained 100 pounds but it was worth it. Fried chicken, biscuits, cat fish mmmm the list goes on. 7. I noticed very few people drink in Nashville. I'm not sure if it is because they are very religious but it is something I noticed. 8. Smoking is still allowed in bars. 9. Everyone dresses very casual in Nashville which is nice coming from Calgary where a night out entails dressing to the nines or you stick out like a sore thumb on a Saturday night. 10. Compared to Canada, the U.S. Is extremely patriotic.

Cheering on the Calgary Flames last night at Buffalo Wild Wings. Technically I am an Oilers fan but when your team is not in the playoffs (and may not be for a very long time) you cant help but support the local team. Unfortunately they lost this game but I have high hopes for a win tomorrow!!

I wanna share with y'all 2 of my favourite makeup products! Both are are under $15 which is super cheap! “Gosh” metallic eyeshadow stick which I use as an eyeliner instead and you don’t need a sharpener either. “Gosh” éclat & brilliance lip gloss comes with a lighted cap and a mirror on the side. This brand is a Shoppers Drug Mart exclusive and can only be purchased in these stores. 💄

As a photography student I practice different techniques as much as I can. This photo I used the "panning" technique, shutter priority, 1/30 sec (slower speed to get the blurr), ISO 100. You need to get your subject to be running in somewhat of a straight line. I would have preferred the dog to be in front but dogs don't always do as their told lol Panning: Focus on your subject first and follow them with your camera as soon as they're at 90 degrees in front of you take the shot. Keep following after you release the shutter.

WEAR YELLOW FOR SETH DAY! Isn't he just the cutest little 5 year old! As you can all see I'm sporting my yellow today in support for this little guy. Seth's mom posted a video online asking people all over the world to wear his favourite colour yellow on March 27th/2015. He was born with severe combined immunodeficiency disorder (SCID) which basically means he has no immune system to fight off bacteria or infections. Until he gets a bone marrow transplant he has to be in a sterile room. Let's make this cuties day and wear yellow!!

I've been wanting to start filling in my eyebrows for awhile now so FINALLY I went and got a product to do so. This is a "before" and "after" picture and also the product. Don't judge this was my first attempt lol but i think it turned out not too shabby. Seriously shouldn't a 28 year old girl know how to do her own brows? So I walk into the store Sephora feeling ridiculous but the staff were so helpful. Definitely made me feel less embarrassed.
