đđđ Watching Dragon's Den somehow always ends with an online purchase by moi. This company called "Boobypack" makes these cute tops that have a zipper on the side to hold your cards, keys ect = no need for a handbag! I purchased this specifically for a music festival so I don't need to worry about loosing anything. I've also worn it to yoga and it's super comfortable. $50

Functional Fashion for The Festy Female
When you search the internet for festival fashion advice keep something in mind â the advice from the fashion blogs, magazines, and websites are always terrible. Someone telling you the appropriate shoes for a festival are Rag and Bone booties or Jimmy Choo wedge sneakers is an asshole or has no idea what theyâre talking about.
Although we all like to think that we look like celebrities at Coachella when weâre at a festival, the reality is we donât. Celebrities have VIP areas, air conditioning, private bathrooms, and shady places to dance with lots of space to sip their beers. This will NOT be your experience.
Festivals in the summer months are blazing hot and despite your favorite fashion blog telling you to wear wedge heels, your coolest rompers, and your favorite expensive leather handbag, donât.
The one thing to remember when youâre getting ready to get festy is, comfort is key. Hereâs some important advice to a festy go-er when youâre not in VIP with Vanessa Hudgens. Things that will definitely happen at a festival: dancing, sweating, walking around, and depending on the festival some seriously muddy feet.
SNEAKERS
For a single-day festy, a flat sandal (thatâs already broken in) is a common choice as well as flip-flops, but beware. I have seen mud suck flip-flops right off peoplesâ feet and getting caught in a dub-step mosh pit in sandals is not something I would wish upon anyone. Flip-flops seem like a good idea until a neon raving bro squashes your pinky toe like a bug.
The smartest option (especially for multiple-day festivals) is to choose comfort over style, but you can always find a way to achieve both. I suggest Converse, Vans, or Toms. All of which are not too expensive and can take a spin in the washing machine. Sneakers will provide you comfort and protection from the foot perils of festivals.
SUNSCREEN
Duh, sunburns suck. No one likes wrinkles, and you definitely wonât get picked to get up on stage if you look like a lobster. Worst possible outcome of a terrible sunburn at a festy? Inability for a DFMO (dance floor make out) with a hottie because the thought of being touched makes you want to melt.
 COMFORTABLE BAG
Bring a bag that you donât mind having around your shoulder all day long, you certainly canât put it down anywhere so you better like it with you at all times. Donât over pack. You may think you need it all, but youâll probably be on another planet, so the thought of adjusting your mascara will not cross your mind nor will you want to spend any more time in that porta-potty than you absolutely have to. Or always remember your boobypack!
 PORTA-POTTY FRIENDLY FASHION
I donât know why every fashion blog promotes rompers for festivals. Who wants to strip down naked in a public porta-potty? The doors never lock and imagine your surprise when some random drunk dude whips open the door when your entire outfit is at your ankles.. Also keep in mind that porta-pottys are pretty nasty so you need a bag that doesnât need hands to hold and an outfit that wont drag when youâre doing your thing.
What does Festy suggest? Denim cut-off shorts, breezy dresses, bikinis, and spandex biker shorts. All of these allow you to be as comfortable and stylish as possible so you can look good and let the music be your only care in the world.

Boobypack Review
Have boobs, love neon, and find regular fannypacks are just bringing down your concert style?
Well if you're lucky, NYC-based writer/entrepreneur Christina Conrad will do a second production run of "her top shelf fannypack", the Boobypack.Â
The 200% funded Kickstarter project closed in January, no doubt in part thanks to their "Dollar Shave Club"-esque video which definitely put me over the edge to pony up ~$40 and back the project.
I received my own in January, and would say it's exactly as described - super minimal (read: not supportive) and with just enough room in the 2 water-resistant pockets for an iPhone 5, some credit cards, keys, and maybe a glowstick. So probably difficult to totally replace an actual fannypack, but possible.Â
If you're interested in getting your own Boobypack, I'd start tweeting at @boobypack now. And yeah yeah it's all ridiculous, but not much more so than a Griz Coat.Â
I HOPE THEY MAKE THESE!!!! I ALREADY DONATED!!!!
