Dear Tumblr,

Thank you, it has been such a pleasure being your booty call.

You have no understanding of what your own founding ideals were after being bought and transferred and transferred again.

All that I have to say is moot and way too late to matter but I am saying it anyway.

Tumblr is worth what it is and chunks of it's 555 million monthly visitors are what they are because of my content and the content of other nude photographers, artist and models.

The information I produced was robust interesting and compelling. It was educational, multinational and expository. It crossed cultures and genres. I made this place more significant to come to and stay. Not only did I create nude imagery I also wrote about it. I did things like bringing unknown nude artists and models the forefront. I explained the artistic process and history within the context of the nude. I made specific images and content for you. I brought users and members to you (information I can prove). Why did I do all this work on Tumblr? Because I believe in freedom of thought and the sharing of ideas. It was wonderful, that initial free ethos I thought Tumblr would keep at least for a little longer. How stupid of me. You are where you are because of me and my content (as well as the content of other nude photographers/artists).

(AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION, BECAUSE YOU NEVER ASKED US) In addition, by using Tumblr, I gave to jobs to (probably over 60) professional nude models, ALL American women, many of them Women of Color. I used their Tumblr blogs as portfolios to see their work.

I need to ask you, did you talk to any nude models, photographers or artist? Do you understand why we do it? Do you even understand the purpose of art? Free thought? Does it even matter?

Well, good luck with your abundance of cat hanging from trees pictures and underwater basket weaving tutorials or whatever the mommy blogs are touting these days.
