Consumer society. It's fascinating to watch customers wandering in a market. I observed their behaviors in a candy shop upstairs on a busy Sunday afternoon. The great selection of candies provided by the shop surprised lots of its visitors. The rest were just wandering casually. Most people liked to check labels before they buy anything. They observed those gorgeously packed products, picked them up, looked at packages up and down, over and over, but eventually put them back. A sensible customer will remain sensible, while irrational buyers will act irrational. Marriage market at Renmin Park in Shanghai - parents come here and bring their children's information written down in a piece of paper. Then they will hang those papers up to exhibit in front of other date-hunters. Chinese Chengguan is so unbelievable. Last week, we were walking down the street to buy a rice cake. A bunch of Chengguan dropped by all of a sudden and confiscated this vender's handcart. And that fruit vender's cart, too... So that pedlers will be unable to sell their things for a while. We understand it is the uniform man's duty but...how can they possibly come back home without a cart?

I thought that every cup noodle has forks in it. But no fork at Cup Noodles made in Hong Kong. This is one of my favorite brand, Cup Noodles. The cup made in mainland China has much less noodles than the ones that we bought in Hong Kong. Why do they change their quality??
