Ok so here’s another prompt because I can’t write for shit
The sorcerers of Kamar-Taj needs money to pay for the electric, water, and wifi bills. Some sorcerers have other jobs aside from protecting the universe from mystical threats and they help in paying the said bills. But all these efforts were not enough. Wong, knowing that Stephen has the highest degree attained among them, approached Stephen and asked for help.
Stephen wanted to help, of course. So he decided to do the other thing he mastered aside from magic, neurosurgery. He feels guilty at first, but he realized that that was his first intention as to why he went there in the first place, to heal his hands. But his motivation before was from his selfishness, now, he can do the thing he loves the most at the same time help the other sorcerers.
After finding a spell that will heal his hands temporarily (he can’t heal them permanently as it will take a lot of energy and also the shaky hands reminds him of his mistakes), he went to a decent hospital to apply for a job. As a top neurosurgeon, he should be accepted easily, but the head of the hospital was suspicious at first. In the end, he was accepted, both parties agreed on having him on call and working only a few times a week (mystic arts is still his priority of course). He also insisted on staying low this time, the media can’t know that the arrogant and egotistical doctor that was ruined by an accident suddenly came back.
One day, a patient was rushed in their hospital. A horrible accident related to the little girl’s head (idk, i know nothing about magic nor neurosurgery). All other hospitals rejected the kid and Stephen can’t decline. He swore to help others, no matter how hard the surgery will be. It’s the only thing he can promise and he can’t take this gift (his steady hands) for granted. So he helped the child, he didn’t care if it will ruin his perfect record eventually. Because he was so good, he managed to save the child (soft!Stephen here because he saved the child!!!). The parents and the child were so grateful so they let the child visit Stephen every now and then. The little girl considered Stephen as her superhero, the one who saved her life. She wanted to be a doctor someday just like her superhero.
Bonus if Tony finds out about the miracle surgery and wanted to talk to this doctor because Rhodey needs help. He found out that the doctor was the Bleecker Street magician who helped them defeat the genocidal purple grape.
This is pretty shit but I want Stephen with a child thank you for coming to my TED talk.
