My lesbian nautical star tattoo

Got this almost two years ago to continue the tradition of nautical star tattoos on the inner wrist to flag lesbianism. It started in Buffalo in the 50’s when butches and femmes got tattoos on their wrists in order to flag their lesbianism during the time when they couldn’t explicitly state their identities.

It’s so important to me to be part of preserving this tradition and keeping it going, lesbian community is so small and needs to continue to be passed down!!

Sapphic events r great like I have been to the woods but i need to be around more dykes that care about more than boygenius and billie eilish. Like I’m lowkey sick and tired of the tiktok lesbian events 😭 where are the lesbian events for alternative ppl and ppl with weird genders and femmes and butches plssss it gets to a point.

Also I feel like queer assimilation is generally harmful to gnc queer people and I will always choose to stand by them over people who just want to conform to what heterosexual society sees as proper.
