Not everybody in social media that is trying to befriend you really wants to be your friend. Learn that not every emails you receive asking for personal information has good intentions. Let us take phishing as an example, this a cyberattack that uses disguised email as a weapon. This is one of the oldest types of cyberattacks. The phisher’s goal is to trick the email recipient into believing that the message is something they want or need — it can be a request from their bank, for instance, a note from someone in their company, and lastly to click a link or download an attachment. The attacker lure individuals into providing sensitive data such as personally identifiable informations, banking and credit card details. and passwords. This attack is still one of the most widespread and pernicious. Avoid being lured by their deceptive emails asking for your informations by thinking before you click, verify the the sender’s address, never give out personal information, and reject any emails that asks you confidential data. Everybody can be a victim, so 𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗘𝗗, 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣, 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧, 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗘.

Technology is evolving and changing rapidly. Its advancement is always parallel in media. information can be transmitted at any time. It can be delivered easily by the use of media and internet. Nowadays, you can browse the internet from anywhere, anytime. but always keep in mind that not everything you see on the media is true. That is why being a literate about media and information is important.

Being a media and information literate is significant for all us specially we are living in a 21st century era. The ground of being a media and information literate it is to engage in a digital society where one needs to be able to understand, use, communicate, inquire, and think critically. It is important to have the capacity to effectively access, organize, and create messages in a variety of forms. Having this trait enables people to interpret and judge as users of information as well as to become skillful creators and producers of information and media messages in their own right.

With all that being said, being a literate about media and information will give us an advantage today especially in terms of giving and gathering and knowing the best most of the false and accurate information in different kinds of platform specifically media. This will help us to improve quality of life, learning environment, and it will provide more cohesive learning units.

⚪️ I just turned 18 last August.

🟤 I’m the first born child among us two and I have a not so little brother.

⚪️ I’m the only girl in the family on my mom’s side and that brings me to preferring playing basketball because i grew up playing with my cousins but i’m not so good with it.

🟤 I stan kpop groups and my ults are BTS & TXT (stan them lol) I also like watching anime these days, specifically sports anime.

⚪️ I kinda like dancing and that is the hobby of mine.
