Scarf often goes to the hairdresser

Like every week

Cause he needs to have those PERFECT little curls with the PERFECT little dye.

He gets reductions bc he comes so often

Despite which he has to do street shows with his sax bc he is BROKE

He justifies himself by saying otherwise  he'd look like this

And it's true

Like exactly, down to the single last hair.

So he's besties with everyone at the salon - He's on first-name terms with everyone, and his visits take like 5 hours bc of all the gossip

He knows that Miranda Alcove drives a Fiat 500 that's not actually her own but the neighbour's 90 years old anyway so yk let's borrow it

He knows that Kai Solemin goes to that one famous singer's every concert and they're basically a running gag in the shows.

Like the singer would yell their name at the beginning and they'd stand up and yell "YUP THAT'S ME" and sit back down again

Yk like that crazy everyday shit

But ERIDAN, on the other hand, goes like once a year

Just to get the red back when the brown roots reach his ears and cut a bit of hair so it stays at hip level

The first time he went when he was 13, Kai was like "Hi ! What can I do for you miss ?" And Eri was like "Uh I'm a guy actually" yk real quiet. And Kai was like "OHHHHH yeah I get it ! I'm kiiinda like you yk ? Like not exactly but kinda"

And the whole time they just bonded over their experiences as trans ppl, and Eri left with a smile on his face, it was really sweet

And so he goes there once a year, and Kai does his hair everytime, and they talk and they're friends now

Kai's like 10 years older than Eri but WHO CARES

And everytime Eri went to the salon he'd get Kai a single gummi crocodile

And Kai would get him a single gummi bear

It's an inside joke
