HA GUESS WHAT IM NOT DONE so it's been x days and my brain won't stop spinning about these lil guys so here's my requests (not really but also yes)

Hahaha that's a lot of spin offs! But I'm really really happy to hear the story's good enough to linger in your thoughts and stir up curiosity for more!

I kinda figured if I ever wrote more in the EoS world, it might either be something with Gear and the Gambler (which, hey, could also include some of the other things you mention, like more of Antimony's, Blei's and Lucienne's backstories!) or something set WAY earlier that would focus on the sorcerers and what happened to them.

At the very least, though, it gives me some ideas for potential silly art!

ps. Angus, I like to imagine, is trying their best to be a better sibling, which mostly involves them sort of following the Gambler around wherever he goes while still trying to act aloof. They are, in many ways, like a big cat. :P

pps. Kate has also expressed a desire for Gloucester and Finch's Magic Detective Adventures, so I guess I should ruminate a bit on those, too :)

BAH LIFE HAS BEEN BUSY AND IN THE WAY BUT I FINALLY FINISHED IIIIITT. that finale and the epilogue got me in the FEELS.

Oooo this has been so FUN and I'm sorry it took this long but am so glad I got to read the full series at a time when I could focus on it and really gobble up the story. A long belated congratulations on this trilogy and it's been so cool seeing the whole legacy pan out!

Now for my final brain vomit:

Took me years to understand that boredom is not the enemy of writing. It is the raw material. Every good idea i have ever had arrived during a walk with no podcast, a train with no phone, a shower where i just stood there. The moment i fill every silence with content i stop generating anything of my own. I am just processing other people's thoughts instead of having mine. The empty space is where the work comes from. Protecting the empty space is the actual job.

OKAY SO. I've been very bad at reading and have been so bad at remembering things so I started a running notes for my reactions to the Epitome of Science books that I always intended to text you (I started this note about 3 years ago) so here is a VERY disjointed stream of consciousness of my reactions to parts of the Winding and The Ticking that have been living in the back of my phone 😅. I also only vaguely remember what some of these were in relation too cause I never noted where in the book it was. So. That's a mystery for us all. A lot of the characters I don't have a super definitive answer for, but I did manage to come up with some options/picks for most of the main cast:

Mikalai Gloucester - Mawaan Rizwan or Akshay Khanna

Zane Zephyr - Kirby Howell-Baptiste

Cassus Finch - Max Bowden (dyed redhead) or Mikey North

Antimony Jones - Katheryn Winnick

Denken - Ken'ichi Matsuyama

The High Minister - Clark Gregg
