hey guys, here are some pictures of today’s morning study session. this year (for my degree in chinese studies) we haven’t done much written chinese, we focused ourselves more on chinese history, literature, oral and classic chinese, that’s why I’ve decided to study it on my own during my holidays! I’m planning to study 2 lessons every day (text, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing and listening). so far, I’m doing an amazing job, I learnt 85 words today! I’m now going to read a chinese contemporary mini-story using my book “graded chinese reader 500 words” ☕ have a nice productive day!

last week’s spread and a view of downtown :) this week has been lots of hot tea, endless essay editing, and my first taste of cold autumn weather. after months of consistent health, my body has finally caught up to the weather difference here up north. needless to say, I’m feeling a little bit under the weather… but with the holidays and finals week approaching, I’m trying to push through and stay positive! hope you are too. remember to hydrate.

life update because long time no see!!!!!! I’ve not been active here lately because life’s been overwhelming so here’s a messy update:

1- I’ve been mainly focusing on my dissertation which is FINALLY FINISHED! I’ve submitted the final version for review and once I get that back I’ll have to fix some things and then upload the final version the first week of june!

2- I’ve also had a ton of projects to work on for all three classes I have this semester and I still have 2 big ones to finish and they’re due in 3 weeks…

3- I’ve been going to the dentist almost every week since the beginning of April and it sucks but at least the dentist guy is cute so

4- I saw endgame two days in a row when it came out and it destroyed me and i’m still not over it so yeah

5- also been watching game of thrones and season 8 is a freaking joke i can’t believe what they’re doing to the characters’ arcs.

6- I still don’t have a clue what I’m gonna do with my life once uni is over lol also wish my family would stop asking me nonstop

November 16th, 2019 // ugh. I’m mad. Mad with Instagram because it has blocked me so many actions: likes, comments etc. Anyway, I think Tumblr suits me better 🤭
