The crossing is still closed and food is disappearing from the markets. Rawan says that the only thing still semi-affordable is unhealthy food like sweets. Vegetables are back at famine prices and meat is simply out of the question. The stress from the situation is tension and fights within Rawan’s family. She’s been miserable these past few days. There’s still no info about when the crossing will reopen.
