Taylor has his earphones in as he drives back home after a long shift at Papa's Hot Doggeria. It is terrible pay but it was the only place hiring at the time when Taylor desperately needed a job.
2 years ago his mom had kicked Taylor out for being gay. Taylor's mom had snooped around his room and read his diary. This had held all of his deepest secrets but she only saw the pages of Taylor fawning over Roy (the manager of Papa's Pizzeria). She was disgusted by this behaviour and had sent Taylor packing.
Taylor hates to think of the moment he had been shunned from his mother as it makes him extremely upset and angry. How can a mother just turn her back on her child just for who they love. Taylor loves to have his earphones in at all times (listening to DJ Honey Buster) in order to distract him for all of his overwhelming thoughts (there are a lot).
He has since then moved in with Chuck (one of the workers at Papa's Wingeria). At first they didn't get off on the right foot. Taylor had gone to Papa's Wingeria as he wasn't in the mood for pizza at the time. He ordered 4 buffalo wings, 8 shrimps and 2 ranch dips and had gotten 1062 wings.
Chuck had thought it was the funniest thing ever while Taylor couldn't even crack a smile. He had waited for his food for ages and was expected to pay for 1062 wings that he didn't even order. Taylor had walked out of the restuarant hungry and furious.
However this wasn't the last of both of them. Taylor had been crashing at his co worker Peggy and her family's ranch whilst trying to find somewhere to live. He was more than welcomed by Peggy's family but felt as if he was overstaying his welcome. One day taylor had found an ad online for renting and sharing a room with someone else. The pictures online showed the apartment to be decent and taylor was up for anything if it meant not feeling like a burden to Peggy's family.
The showing of the apartment went well: it would be very convenient for Taylor as it is reasonably close to his workplace. Just as he had wondered of the person he would be sharing the room with in walked Chuck ...
Taylor's face dropped as Chuck walked in with confidence and grace. He stood tall as if commanding attention. "Bro what are you doing here" Chuck gleamed at Taylor shocked to see him. "I'm here for the apartment" He mutters. "You are lying" He responds his voice slightly raised. "No way we are going to be roommates" Chuck shouts with a giant smile across his face.
"You two know each other?" The realtor had asked. "Barely" Taylor grunts. "We will become best friends in no time" Chuck grins throwing an arm around Taylor's shoulders.
He wasn't wrong about that
Taylor had been hesitant to move in with Chuck as he gathered that he was a troublemaker but regardless moved in away to be able to have somewhere he can call home.
Taylor shoves his hands into his pockets grabbing his keys. He turns his keys in place unlocking his front door to be welcomed by a bubbly Chuck. "Welcome home roomie"
