A is a notorious lightweight when it comes to taking cold medication, and they've been stubbornly refusing to take it for days because they don't like how it makes them feel.

but... A is just so terribly sleep deprived and exhausted and miserable from days of an awful cold and B has finally managed to convince them they need to dull their symptoms in order to get some much-needed rest, so A reluctantly agrees take a dose, with B promising to stay close.

Within thirty minutes A is considerably loopy, relaxed, and their congestion has eased enough that they can finally snuggle into a comfortable position on the couch/bed for first time in days. They're a little more cuddly and giggly with the medication in them.

B strokes their hair and asks A how they're feeling. A smiles up at them sleepily, a little hazy, their eyes blinking slowly, clearly a little out of it, but not unhappily so. "M'good," A smiles. "M'very good."

B can see that A is bit floaty but at least they're clearly not as miserable as they were, and that's what's important.

A sneezes suddenly, and then with a dazed, earnest expression looks up at B and very sincerely says: "Bless you."

I have aphantasia (can’t form images in my head) so picturing scenes in my head is really difficult for me. It’s easier with media like The W/itcher or Marvel, just as an example, because those actors are in EVERYTHING. I have a better mental compilation of what their face looks like at different angles I guess.

Anyways, I don’t have that with HR since the actors are all pretty new and the show is so short. Your last three drawings of them have been absolutely adorable, your art style, the positioning, the prompts you chose. They’re literally all perfect and now I have actual images of scenes that I can go back to in my head.

If you made it through my oversharing and you’d be so inspired, the trope that my brain has been fixated on for a while now is someone holding a tissue for another person. I think this is so holla/nov coded, especially with D/s vibes I/lya holding a tissue up for a foggy-headed S/hane.

Maybe he’s too tired to do it himself but sneezing uncovered would actually make his little rule following brain combust so I/lya makes the executive decision that he’s the captain now. Maybe he’s too blissed out after I/lya “makes him feel better” when he’s sick. Maybe I/lya is just being I/lya and intentionally doing it to embarrass Shane, if you’re a honeymoon rhinitis h/c person.

Genuinely anything just I/lya holding tissues for S/hane 🫠
