What can I say? #Nixon Blew this year out of the water! From student council, to winning the Scripts Spelling Bee to district finals, killer grades, and finally Nixon was selected to have the honor of delivering his closing speech at the end of #brookside culmination ~ marking the new journey ahead. We celebrated by letting go of the past, for good, and I made a long overdue promise a reality, a beautiful home in the neighborhood we both love. Where kids still ride bikes and play outside. Where neighbors pitch in, just because they are good humans. Where we have found life long friends that we consider family. Best of all Nixon can walk to school with his besties. I could not be more proud in this bittersweet moment. Babyhood is past and it’s time to level up.
