why is coloring or rendering/shading so hard like Chester is in base/under color purgatory rn bc i dont feel like actually coloring this fecker

sometimes when im struggeling with art block i go and look at my old art personal favorites to giggle at (most are sketches bc i was trying to find my own style) i used to do these weird rainbow sketches for awhile now it's just a random color or Black. Also this is my way of letting ya'll know im not dead
