Alexis Belle Carter

skylar chuckled lightly as she gave her a small and soft smile. she thought the girl was really nice and was surprised she never really saw her before. “i know what you’re talking about.” she said as she nodded her head in understanding. “i’m not a big fan of being on camera as well, i also try to avoid cameras as much as i can, but it’s never easy.”

“who are you praying too, love? i only know one, true god and he is standing before you.” he motioned his arms to either side of his body, smirking devilishly. “i would be honored to watch you pray to me on your knees, though.. go ahead, i’m waiting.”

“uhm.. no?” the girl replied, shrugging. “are you though? because we can flip that around and put screen over your face and have you talking in the interviews..” juliette would flip anything in anyway that she wanted it to flip for television. it was almost as if her brain was trained for it. “busy…right… cleaning a hotel..” she nodded, “so, you must definitely know who’s going in there and sleeping with who. see? that makes for great television but anyway, you can’t avoid us forever, you know that, right? there’s a contract and technically…” the woman sucked her teeth, “you need to at least make a few appearances. just make them juicy.” 

And this is why she stayed inside more often than not. It always came back to the show. “Eh, it was worth a shot” she stated with a shrug. “No.The last thing I want is more time, even if my face is hidden.” She could see the wheels working in Juliette’s head. It was just her luck running into a producer of all people. Hearing her spew about the people in the hotel made Lexi disgusted. She would never share that information. “Doesn’t matter who is in the hotel or what they are up to, you won’t hear it from me. People go there for peace and quiet away from y’all.” Rolling her eyes she replied, “Juicy, huh? You want to see me doing yard work? That’s about as good as it gets. May as well just bother someone else.”

“other thrills? more appealing?” the man scoffed, shaking his head. “i do believe you are mistaken, alexis. there is no one quite as thrilling as me, no one quite as exciting.. quite as handsome, quite as intelligent. you are either blind or lying to yourself, love and both those opinions are things we can work with. just give me a moment and i will have you on your knees in no time.”

“that’s what I said and I meant it” she laughed out at the entire conversation she was having. “Gotta give you some great props on the self confidence though. People could kill for that kind of self assurance.“ the conversation was fun, if not odd; especially the location of it all. “If I’m on my knees, it’ll be because I’m praying for you.“

just like any other day, skylar went to get some more groceries, because apparently living alone means you always forget to get certain things. she was walking through the aisles, getting distracted by new foods, new drinks, even new fruits. she was getting all kinds of stuff she didn’t really need. while looking around in the aisle, looking at the different things on the shelves, the girl almost bumped into someone. “it’s okay.” she said softly with a smile. “i guess it’s also my fault. i wasn’t paying attention at all.” she said. “why are you in such a hurry, if you don’t mind me asking ??” 

“I forget sometimes I’m not the only one shopping“ she joked lightly, a smile on her face. She tried being nice to most people she ran into, regardless of their involvement in the show. But it could be hard at times. “No you’re fine“ she insisted, “Just busy. Busy day. Lots to do. Plus I’m more of an off camera person so I don’t wanna take chances.“

    “woah, woah, woah,” the woman put her hands up, having dropped the boxes of cereal she previously held on the floor. “i’m just trying to get my cookie crisps here..” she spoke, shaking her head as she reached down. “why are you in a hurry?” she questioned, aware the girl got minimal camera time than the last due the fact that she hid herself from them. something julie, a producer, was not happy about.  “dude, the camera’s not going to eat you today. i think they’re all on break anyway. you’re chill.”

Seeing who she almost ran into instantly gave her the heebie jeebies. Of course it was someone included in the very show she was against. “Again sorry, you may want a new box, in case those are crushed” she suggested. “I’m just.....busy” she said lamely though she knew Juliette out of anyone knew she had an aversion to the cameras. “I’ve heard that before and still ended up in front of one...” she explained with a shrug. “Can we pretend I’m in Witness Protection so I don’t get filmed?”

“if you wanted on top of me, all you had to do was ask.” beckett smirked, brushing his suit jacket off as if to straighten himself out. “i mean, who am i to deny you such a thrill, alexis?”

Her eyes rolled, a common response whenever she was near the man before her “Come on Becks, you know it’s never gonna happen” she joked, returning a smile, while looking around them. “Other thrills are more appealing”

   “do you ever want to redesign some of these places around town?” remington questions as he’s turning towards the other that was sat next to him, picking up his wine glass to take a sip of it’s contents. “like, some of these places are just kind of…tacky looking and look like they haven’t changed anything since the place was built.” he’s shrugging again, wine glass being placed down on the surface in front of me. “maybe it’s just me thinking it’s tacky, though.”

Alexis wavered between answering and acting like she hadn’t heard the person next to her. She didn’t want to be rude,but she didn’t want to be put into a long conversation that would end up having some sort of camera or something come about. She had to admit she agreed with him though. “I don’t think I’d call it tacky, but some of it is definitely outdated a bit.” She enjoyed her home, but did miss some points in how some places were done up more than others. “You never know. With everything going on around here someone who knows someone who knows someone may see it on TV, make the request to redesign everything and you could do it.” She shrugged before continuing, “Some people don’t favor change though so there is that.”
