If they needed a way to reach a hopeful path

I’d gladly offer myself up as the staircase trampled by society’s wrath 

I could take on a thousand swords to the heart

If sacrificing myself would keep them from falling apart.

What do I see as the worst type of suffering?

Being powerless to aid them when they're broken and shuddering.

The heart can be in paradise even if the body’s in abyss, 

for as long as we have each other no amount of suffering can steal our bliss

If it doesn’t kill me I can handle the pain,

I’ll hold an umbrella to shield them from blood rain.

A thousands lanterns will light up the night,

When we meet in the middle and embrace in delight.

Determined to protect the other while accepting our own flaws,
