my favorite part of Carry On is that Simon spends the whole first section of the book saying “my roommate of seven years is annoying and evil and tried to kill me three times, so I have to know where he is at every moment for my own safety” and then Baz shows up 15 minutes late with starbucks like “yeah I’ve been in love with him for three years and admittedly I did try to kill him once, but that was for politics, fuck this adorable moron, honestly”
