Well, idle minds come up with some pretty unusual things and my mind went to the place where thick diapers are born.  The mad scientist lab.  So without rambling on too much, I give you the PT (paddedtrucker) Super Diaper.

First things first.  The tools that I will be using for this insane homebrew are as follows.  

Two irwin quick clamps, a roto cutter

And a knife and since I’m somewhat of a knife snob, here’s a shameless plug for the Coolina line of knives.  They’re hand made, pretty heavy on the weight and super sharp.  No, I don’t get any kickbacks from this, I just really love their knives.  Very unique.

Starting off the build is this thin little beauty.  A medium Tena stretch ultra.  They’re cloth backed and quite soft.  Not a whole lot of capacity on their own but when doubled or tripled, they do tend to swell up quite nicely.

Now for the building instructions.  Step one, have the idea.  Step two, unfold the tena, or what other cheap diaper you wish to use and clamp it to a hard surface.  Here I’m using my kitchen table with a cutting mat under it.

Step three.  Take the roto cutter, or scissors if that’s what you have, and cut around the padding of the stuffer diaper.  Exactly the same process for using baby diapers or goodnights as stuffers.  when all the elastic has been cut away, you’re left with a rather large pad.

Step Four.  Taking the knife, or some other form of cutting tool, make several cuts lengthwise down the pad to expose the actual filling inside.  This serves the purpose of allowing whatever form of moisture to soak into the pad and flow out the bottom into the diaper you’ve chosen as the outer shell.

Step Five.  Make a cut into the diaper you will be using as the outer shell.  For this build, I’ve chosen a Rearz Seduction in purple, size medium.  In this picture you’ll see a strip of clear packing tape.  That’s where I made my cut.  you can choose where you want to place your own cut but for me, personally, I like the inside of the diaper towards the back.  tends to hold together longer.  Once you’ve made your cut you then take the pad that you sliced up and work it into the outer diaper.  Once you have enough pads stuffed into your shell diaper, take some tape and seal up the hole.

Step Six.  Make sure you have plenty of snacks.  I’m rather fond of this particular brand and flavor of yogurt so that’s why I’ve included it in the build.

As you can see, this is the end result.  it’s very thick as I chose to use 3 pads instead of just one.  This is completely dry, by the way.  Should last me well over 12 hours, quite possibly 24 hours if I want to push it.

But I do still have the screenshots. Now, this is only 20, that’s because the other rules were a bit NSFW, and that’s not what I want these rules to be about. 🍼 cut up their food for them and fill their sippy cup for them. (if they have one).

🍼 tell them they’re too little to do something that they would usually do when they’re big.

🍼 tie their shoes for them when going out.

🍼 buy them a new stuffie/toy/paci/sippy/any little thing they like when you’re out shopping.

🍼 don’t act like they’re annoying you.

🍼 tell them that you’re proud of them/give them small rewards for things like cleaning up without being asked to.

🍼 refer to yourself as the name they call you. (e.g. “daddy/mommy/caregiver loves you very much” “you’re going to do that for daddy/mommy/caregiver?”) (this helps a lot for me!).

🍼 pick them up whenever you can.

I feel like this is the mode I default to…
