I have gotten almost nothing done this weekend that I wanted to.

Behold, in all his glory, Fishrod. Or Fishdaráto, if you will. A golden betta fishmaid.

You might be asking me: are those tattoos on his ass? Yes. Yes they are. He does, indeed, have ass tattoos of the harp and fuckass torch from his heraldic device. They’d have been a tramp stamp, but I had a migraine and didn’t want to figure out how to work them onto the fish portion of his body.

I applied and got approved to sell on Mayhem Marketplace; I’m also working on maybe creating the blog that they offer and trying to keep it updated.

Right now I have jewelry, stickers, and a few cross-stitch options posted. Eventually, I’d like to be able to add art prints and some other crafts I want to work on.

Most of my items I’ve made are up, though I have a couple newer ones that I still have to get better pictures of to put up. (Pics posted here)

Most of the items I offer are pieces I can recreate, so they aren’t limited to just one. And for my earrings, I can do hooks (stainless steel, silver, titanium, and gold plated stainless steel) and posts immediately. I’m looking into the possibility of plastic hooks for those who are allergic to all metals. And I can do gauges and plugs, but those are made to order, because I have to know appropriate sizes.

Today, I’m mostly posting because I’ve finished creating a new store front. I used to use Etsy, but paying their fees when stuff wasn’t selling was a bit much for me. (20 cents per listing, plus the advertising fees to actually get things noticed? And then they take a cut.)

I was introduced to Mayhem Marketplace and decided to apply. I love it. It’s so much more user friendly and streamlined. I was able to get my shop up and running in two days!

I have most of the jewelry I’ve made up, and some of my cross stitch options, but not my stickers yet. Those will be coming soon, I promise. And it’s simple enough to create listings that I shouldn’t be putting off any new jewelry I make. lol (Tagging Silmarillion and FFXIV, because some of the jewelry and cross stitch pieces are actually themed.)

Gonna put it up on Etsy with the Varda one as soon as I can. Working on Orome and Manwe, as well.

Managed to get a second one up for @silmsmutweek! It may be late, but I’m still going, which is pretty good for me.

Honestly, this wasn’t the original plan. I blame others for the brainworm that led to this, but it happened.

It probably isn’t particularly great. I haven’t done lots of writing lately, so this was getting back into it. And I just could not think of a real title.
