You and riddle had been dating for about a year, and goodness was that boy smitten for you. you helped him realize a lot about himself, and the comfort you provided him was beyond imaginable.

one day, in the Heartslabyul lounge, riddle was in conversation with Trey, just talking about random stuff. you wandered into the hallway to the lounge, searching for your boyfriend, when you overheard your name.

“how are things with the prefect? it’s been a year ish since you got together, right?” trey asks, leaning back in the chair he was sitting in. riddles face went red, matching his hair, but the smile that spread across his face betrayed him.

“it’s going very well. i.. i really see a future for us beyond our time here. and i’m hoping that marriage is included in that future.”

did you hear him right? marriage? he wants to marry you?

you felt like you were on cloud nine when he said that. you didn’t hear what was said next, as you were so lost in your head. you walk out of the hallway after a minute, greeting riddle and trey.

“hi trey, hi baby.” you greet, sitting next to riddle and peppering his face in soft kisses. he sighed, but made no move to stop you. the arm he wrapped around your waist said everything that his mouth didn’t.

he has no clue that you heard about his marriage wishes, and you don’t plan on bringing it up. but you do plan on ensuring you stay together for it.

Ruggie Bucchi

on a random sunday, when neither of you had anything going on, ruggie took you to the town on Sage Island to walk around.

as you guys visit different stores and boutiques, both of you trying on random items and messing around—your normal shenanigans—you end up in a jewelry store, where you actually run into Kalim.

Kalim and Ruggie get into a conversation while you look around at the different accessories. they’re standing next to a ring display case, chatting about whatever, when ruggie says something that catches your attention.

“this ring would suit ‘em the best. matches their eyes. hey, wanna lend me money?” ruggie asks, pointing at a dainty yet beautiful silver ring in the engagement section.

“but isn’t it early to be engaged..? i mean obviously i will, but not right now.” kalim says, nodding his head in your direction. ruggie waves him off.

“no such thing as too early. i’d marry ‘em right after graduating here. so we gotta be locked in, no?” he grins, then walks back towards you. he wraps his arms around your waist, resting his chin on your shoulder. “hey doll, find anything you like?”

you can barely answer him. your face is probably bright red due to the conversation you overheard between him and Kalim, which is understandable. he literally just asked the scarabia housewarden for money so he could propose to you.

yeah, you’d marry him right there.

Azul Ashengrotto

to azul, everything was business. calculated, thought through, and made to be most profitable for him. but when you came along, you destroyed that for him in the best way possible.

azul wasn’t used to not being the one in control, but he’d lose all control he could ever have if it meant having you.

you helped him overcome a lot of the insecurities and demons that haunted him from his childhood, and you helped with the mostro lounge. for him, it couldn’t get much better.

one day, the lounge was closed—shocker, i know. azul and the twins were working on five year plans. well, it was more like azul working on his while goofed off and jade looked at mushrooms on his phone.

azul was making some last minute touches when floyd grabbed the paper from azuls hands, and he chuckled so hard when he looked at the end of the five years. and, little did the three of them know, you were entering the lounge and could hear everything they were talking about.

“jade, look at this! azul said he’s gonna marry Shrimpy at the end of these five years!” floyd exclaims, causing azuls face to go red.

“floyd, give that back, now!” azul demands, lunging for the paper. floyd steps backwards, and is surprised when someone takes the paper out of his hand. he turns around to find you, making your way to return the paper to azul.

the flush on your boyfriends face deepens when you give the paper back, a gentle smile on your face. “i think these plans are wonderful. definitely keep pursuing them.” you say, then peck him on the lips before turning on your heel and leaving.

the mocking noises of floyd and the small laughs from jade were blocked from azuls mind—the only thing he could think about was making you his permanent business partner.

Floyd Leech

floyd is not quiet about his devotion to you. not in the slightest. if you look extra good that day? expect him to be on his knees about it. you praise him in basketball? the next shots he goes for are all for you. he makes it clear, too.

at his latest basketball game, you show up, as always. floyd was playing particularly well today—he must be in a good mood.

when he makes a great steal and then rushes the ball down the court, shoots and scores, you’re cheering the loudest. “go floyd!! that’s how it’s done!” you exclaim, standing while clapping.

floyd points at you while he jogs to get to his position on the other side of court. “i’m gonna marry you one day, by the way! hopefully some day soon!” he exclaims back, mirroring your actions by clapping.

everyone in the stands looks towards you, who’s standing there looking shocked. probably because you are. everyone in the stands are shocked, but there was a collective cheer following floyd’s announcement.

after the game, he’s acting like nothing happened—like he didn’t just drop that crazy fun fact. when you ask about it, he pulls you in by the waist. “well, i gotta stay honest, right?” he grins, then peppers your face in kisses, causing you to laugh.

that laugh of yours just so happened to be his favorite sound in the world—so why wouldn’t he marry you? make sure he can hear that laugh every day?

Jade Leech

jade is much quieter than his twin brother, but he loves you all the same. one day, he has you come through the mountains on a hike with him. per usual, you help him collect mushrooms that pique his interest, making sure to store them safely for later.

once you get back to night raven, you’re sitting in the mostro lounge with him, azul and floyd. you’re helping jade go through the mushrooms you collected on the hike, while azul and floyd watch with disdained gazes.

out of nowhere, jade asks, “would mushrooms be acceptable at our wedding, my love? the ones that are pretty in your eyes, at least.” you look up at him, and he’s gazing at you with the most adoration you’ve ever seen. he has such a tender smile gracing his face—you can tell he’s serious.

“well, i don’t see why not..” you reply carefully, giving him a small smile in return. he wraps his arms around you, hugging you tightly.

“no better answer to that question.” he says, his voice slightly muffled from your shirt. floyd acts like someone has just died.

“no way you’re actually gonna get married!” he exclaims, and azul slaps his hand over floyd’s mouth.

“floyd, shut up, please.” azul grumbles, and jade looks up, resting his chin on your shoulder.

“of course we’re going to get married.” he looks at you before continuing, “life would be pointless without you.”

a dopey smile spreads across your face, and you ruffle jades hair. “you’re impossible, i swear.” but there was no real heat behind you words—just pure love.

Kalim Al-Asim

kalims dreams for the future the two of you had was no secret. he’d openly talk about how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you, spoiling and pampering you with the most luxurious things his money could buy.

however, there was never anything about putting a ring on your finger, or anything else related to actual marriage.

one night, you’re tangled in his sheets, both of you bare and soaking in the afterglow of intimacy. you’re helping kalim fix his turban when he suddenly blurts out, “you know i’m gonna marry you, right?” the biggest smile is on his face as he states that.

your eyes widen at his confession. he had never mentioned marriage, so you were kind of surprised at his statement. however, your surprise was quickly replaced by an enlightening joy.

“i look forward to the day you put a ring on my finger, kalim.” you tease, pecking him on the lips before laying back down. he chuckles, laying down next to you.

“well hopefully you won’t have to wait too terribly long. i’m going to commit as soon as we graduate!” he exclaims, tackling you in a big bear hug. he peppers your face with kisses until you’re a giggling mess.

once you’ve both calmed down, he holds you tenderly against him. “i hope you know im serious. i wanna spend the rest of forever with you.” he murmurs, his lips brushing your skin with each word.

you hum in response, feeling yourself drift off in the warmth of your lovers arms.

Jamil Viper

jamil loved you, you knew that. but whenever you’d talk about your future after night raven, he’d get quiet and be quick to change the subject. you didn’t know why, and he never said anything as to why he did that.

one day, you enter scarabia to hang out with jamil, when you hear him in conversation with kalim. you stop in your tracks, making yourself small to hide and listen.

“kalim. i request that when we graduate, you formally release me from servitude.” jamil states, his tone firm.

kalim raises a brow, clearly in confusion. “i mean i can.. but why?”

jamil frowns, frustrated at the other boy’s confusion. “well, as you know, i’m in a relationship with the ramshackle prefect. and i plan on proposing soon after graduation. however, with my servant status, they’d be pulled into the same boat as my family and i. that’s not fair, so i request to be freed.” he explains, and you feel your face heat up. he plans on proposing?

he actually wants a future with you? well, all things considered, it makes sense he’d be hesitant to say anything before knowing whether or not he’ll be free.

kalim smiles, hugging jamil. “you shoulda started with that! you have my full permission and blessing.” he gushes, and doesn’t fight when jamil carefully pushes kalim off him.

“thank you, kalim.” he says, his tone genuine. there’s something more underneath, something more tender.

once you know they’re done talking, you walk up behind jamil, wrapping your arms around his waist and burying your face in his back. “hi baby, whatcha up to?”

jamil turns in your embrace, kissing your forehead and hugging you back. “nothing much, just talking to kalim.” he replies, and looks over his shoulder at kalim, who’s walking off with a pep in his step.

and honestly, jamil would probably be skipping around if he wasn’t glued to his spot in your arms. a spot that he won’t have to give up.

Silver Vanrouge

you were no stranger to the chaos that came with dating silver. it was more so the chaos that came from the diasomnia crew, as the most chaotic silver would get would be falling asleep at the worst time possible (which he definitely does quite often).

the real mess was silvers adoptive father, lilia. lilia would appear out of nowhere, sneaking up on the two of you. it didn’t matter if you were in silvers room, the courtyard, the cafeteria, the diasomnia lounge, the ramshackle lounge… the list goes on.

one day, you two were cuddling in silvers bed after a long day of classes. all of a sudden, lilia appears at the foot of the bed, sitting down on the plush mattress. neither of you notice his presence until he speaks.

“room for one more? you must be sure to leave room for lilia.” he beams, scaring the living shit out of you and silver.

silver groans, throwing a pillow at lilia. “father, no. please leave.”

lilia frowns, tossing the pillow back at silver. “no can do—no premarital shenanigans. so i must watch you two to ensure all is well!”

silver groans louder, this time sitting up to face lilia. “okay, so if i propose right here, right now, you’ll go away?” both yours and lilia’s eyes go wide.

“you’d propose just so i go away?” lilia asks, shaking his head.

“well i planned on proposing after graduation, but if anything, the sooner the better.” silver states, almost as easily as saying the sky is blue. his honesty was nothing new, but you didn’t expect this.

“silver, it’s okay, really.” you say softly, sitting up and ruffling his hair. he sighs, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you both back to laying down. lilia sighs, then hums something under his breath before disappearing into thin air.

you wanted to ask silver what he meant, but before you could even say anything, you hear soft snores from your lover.

guess you’d have to wait until he’s awake again.

but who are you to complain about what he meant? if he was serious, then you genuinely think you’d combust from joy.
