aksel demir was born and raised in washington dc. her father was a diplomat for the diplomatic mission of the republic of turkey to the united states. her mother was a financial analyst on capitol hill. aksel was the third and final child born to the demir family.
growing up, aksel was a bit of a troublemaker. while her older siblings were falling into line nicely and eyeing their spot on capitol hill someday, aksel was out trying to find her own path to take. her parents weren’t controlling and truth be told, they supported her and all her rebellion as well as any parents could.
when it came time for college, she could have had her pick. between her father’s status and her family’s wealth, there was a sea of opportunities for her to take. rather than lean into it all the way her older siblings had, she opted to take her own path. she decided that rather jump into college straight after high school graduation, she’d take a gap year.
a gap year funded by her parents, of course. they wanted their daughter to see the world and for a year, she did just that. she traveled all around, swiping a card as if it meant nothing at all. when the year was up, there was a decision to be made. one that she wasn’t quite ready for.
having just missed the application due date, aksel was able to sneak in another gap year to feed her hunger for exploration. her parents only brought up their concerns after she’d called them from a small county jail somewhere out of montana. they were fine with her finding herself, but not with the risks included.
finally, after two gap years, aksel was enrolled at the university of california, berkeley and all because of her father’s political pull. without him, she would have never made it in. the first year was good. she had her fair share of fun, but by the second year, it was harder to stay on the path etched out before her.
as difficult as it got, she pushed forward until she’d earned a diploma in legal studies and had developed her own grand plan. she would attend law school, pick a state out of fifty, and settle down somewhere within it.
by the age of twenty-five, she was rolling into law school at the university of virginia. it took some convincing, but her parents had managed to talk her into going to a place near home.
a year later and she was dropping out and cutting ties to her family due to an argument that left her realizing how much she’d taken for granted over the years. she didn’t want to be the person who could snap their fingers and get whatever she wanted. she didn’t want her parents continuing to dig her out of the holes she made for herself. so, on a whim and what she’d managed to save up over the years, she moved across the states once more and settled in seattle, washington.
she found a listing for a legal secretary position and while being overqualified, it beat no job at all. she got a taste of law without actually getting to practice. soon enough, she realized how much value a dollar had and how little she knew how to make it last.
she was only looking around when she stumbled upon a site looking for women interested in being high class escorts. at first, she wasn’t serious, but the more she learned about it, the more curious she got.
three years later and she’s living an interesting life. she occasionally hangs off the arm of a wealthy man for a few hours at a time and at the end of the night, walks away with a paycheck that covers two months rent. it’s not something she’s overly proud of, but she’s doing just fine without her parents money. that’s all that really matters to her.

client(s). someone that she has went out with or will go out with. she doesn’t sleep with her clients. more so, acts as whatever they need for a night. this would require a lot of plotting, but could be interesting! definitely capping this at two.
neighbors. she lives in west point homes. could be someone she shares a wall with or just someone that she sees around a lot due to living nearby.
one night stand(s). with her job, it’s difficult to make strides towards commitment, so she prefers to keep people at a distance. it’s as simple as it sounds; one night stand that might happen more than once, but not something she’d make a habit out of.
best friend. someone she could have met three years ago. no specifics on where or how they met, but they instantly clicked and have been inseparable ever since. this muse would know about her career as an escort.
coworker(s). anyone who works at a law firm. would love to have the attorney that she is secretary for, but would be down for other professional connections as well.
ghost from her past. this is someone she met before moving to seattle. perhaps they got close, but something happened and they parted ways. would love to plot this a little deeper!
