I went ahead and based this off of a scene from @zero-buster ‘s fic! (read here) also kinda gave a little hazy effect to it since I had the intention of portraying this from sick Ryo’s perspective (hence why the bathtub seems huge too ppft)

honestly my favorite thing that dmcb did was have akira continue to call ryo by his human name even after the satan reveal

manga akira struggles in both og devilman and devilman lady to reconcile that his friend ryo and the actual fucking fallen angel satan are the same person now and akira calls ryo “satan” from that point on but crybaby akira is just like “i know you murdered everyone i love and i still can’t forgive you for that but you’re still ryo to me” and shit fam that just fucks me up
