Initially, Aki was a human worker that passed away during a cargo accident. With no family to claim the mutilated body, another oc pf mine comes into the picture. ⊹ ࣪ ˖Maeve⊹ ࣪ ˖

She reconstructs her and acts as a guardian/creator. Aki is born as a project for organ reconstruction and what is essentially a being brought back to life.

Maeve worked meticulously, and she held this project dear to her heart. She wanted Aki's body to be soft and warm, and comfortable as it should be.

Maeve's and Quaritch's relationship was something akin to romantic yet never expicit which left Quaritch dealing with a lot of conflicted feelings. Guilt, loss and malaise.

He is conflicted about Aki as when Maeve first "created" her she was emotionally inert, mute, expressionless and barely responsive.

Yet, currently she is full of life. She laughs, she expresses her needs and wants and she becomes very attached to Quaritch.

Her personality is so similar to Maeve's that he attributes her feelings for him to her mirroring what Maeve used to feel for him.

Currently, she is under the care of Morgan. Maeve's uncle and a big figure in a separate branch of the RDA. He has her registered as a 'beta' for another one of his projects and she is deemed "out of order"

He cares grately for her as he sees her as a last piece of his deceased niece, and is constantly fighting against the rot that plagues her body.
