14. whats your favorite thing about drawing?
it's hard to choose one thing here! but if i'd choose from the most important for myself...
a possibility to capture emotions and experience in art β drawing often helps me work through my emotions and understand myself a little better! sometimes i find answers even just in the process of sketching... it's truly amazing!
a possibility to cheer someone up with your art β i'm always happy if i manage to evoke positive emotions from my work! i think, i'm also happy if i manage to convey emotions and atmosphere, and people feel it... even if it's something sad β€οΈβπ©Ή
an opportunity to track my path β i've always had a bad memory of the past, and flipping through old sketchbooks and drawings helps me remember what inspired me before! i used to not really like looking at my old works, but now i always look at them with warmth
19. where do you find inspiration?
i get a lot of inspiration from conversations with my friends!! they often offer me good ideas and lift up my creative spirit π also a good walk in nature is a big sourse of inspiration for me π±
favorite media and characters! and need i say more?... it's always nice to have a hyperfixation that can pull you out of any work in a second, because you just came up with a good idea for a drawing :'D
my old works! I like to be nostalgic for some creative periods of my life, and often I find motivation in them to keep getting better; or I just embrace the same energy and I also want to draw :)
and of course, other artists and people's creativity in general! (from art and animations, to sketchbook tours and reviews about art materials β¨ i love it all!!)
24. whats a compliment about your art that has always stuck with you?
there's so many of them... and each of them has a special place in my heart π§‘
at one time, I drew a lot of my original characters in ask-blog comic format, and many people really liked my stories;; it's still very hard for me to believe that these comments are for me, but they make me very very happy π€²β¨
speaking of art, i am extremely pleased when people feel the warmth in my work, pointing to the atmosphere of the drawing or the interaction of the characters... i really like to draw tender scenes and just some kind stories, which makes me incredibly happy every time when people feel it too ;o; π
i also get excited when people point out to birds or symbols that I often draw!! "do you like birds? me too!!" β and oh my god, I already love you!! yes!! i love them too, buddy!! you're so right...
