The Strange Lives of Almost Normal People

What started as a small idea, what would the lives of my friends and I be like if we had powers, slowly grew into an expansive universe full of complex stories and original character. This is the beginning of that story:

In a world of magic and monsters, the country and 8th continent, Rissen, is divided by its main religion.

Those who worship the God of Order live inside an empire where the government picks who you marry, your job, and other major life decisions. And in return, you are protected from hunger, homelessness, sickness and the dangers of the outside world.

But many have rebelled for love or just to have the privilege of choice which has created conflict that still goes on today.

The Strange Lives of Almost Normal People follows the lives of several people on both sides of the conflict as they discovered a shared destiny.
