My proudest moment; Meeting Sam Fender and giving him a framed printout of my tribute that I'd drawn.
It was so weird, I'd planned to go to the Low Lights and hand the printout to the bar staff, not imagining that Sam would actually be there. But he was! And I was very nervous but I managed to pluck up the courage to approach him. I knew this was lighting in a bottle and would never happen again.
To Sam: Thank you for making this downtrodden artist feel worthy! I'll never forget you telling me that I was talented, coming from you, that's such a massive compliment. I'll never forget you hanging the drawing up on the wall and how you remembered me a couple days later when we randomly crossed paths again! And I'm sorry for approaching you when I know you're just trying to live your normal life in your home town. Since that day I've felt a bit guilty for just coming up to you like that. It must've been weird some randomer coming up to you with a drawing, and I know if it'd have been me it'd have weirded me out! But all the same, thank you for making time for us x
