Do you think Tommy will jump off the bed after 10 seconds or will he bear the extremely suffocating heat from big sticky Buck?

Fluffebruary Prompt - Pets
BtMonsterfuckermonday prompt - Extreme size difference
There is zero explanation to how it happens.
All Buck knows is that when he wakes up, the world around him is different.
Bigger.
Like, massive, bigger, and it doesn't take long for him to realize that the world hasn't gotten bigger, but that he's grown smaller.
It's all so puzzling, and Buck even gets to see Tommy fully freak out for the first time.
Buck can't really blame him, because what boyfriend wouldn't freak out to waking up to almost squishing his boyfriend to death when rolling over? Buck had thankfully escaped right on time and climbed on top of his pillow and looked up to Tommy's giant face staring at him in a mixture of awe and horror and disbelief. His pilot had pinched himself, then, trying to convince himself that this was just a weird dream. Oh, how Buck wished it was.
"I don't know how it happened," he says for the umpteenth time later that morning once Tommy has carried him down to the kitchen. Tommy's palm is cozy, he quickly discovers, and it's weird to even think about it. Now he's standing on the kitchen table. Fully standing, and the salt shaker still towers over him. "I woke up and everything was bigger!"
Tommy hums and Buck can practically see the cogs turning inside his head. He knows Tommy is very skeptical when it comes to anything otherworldly, even with proof being right there in front of his face (Billy Boils)! but this is something he can't write off, no matter how much he tries.
Even Buck think this is something beyond any possibility, and yet—
"Maybe I'm in a coma," he suggests thoughtfully.
"What? No, Evan. You're not in a coma. You— you are right here. With me. You came home after your shift last night, we fooled around."
"So it's a curse."
"Maybe." Tommy looks pained. "Maybe Howie knows. Stay right there."
"Not going anywhere," Buck pouts and sits down petulantly onto the surface. He starts inspecting a few grains of salt as Tommy walks away, already distracted by how different they look so up close when he feels the table shake and a sudden presence behind him. Well. Towering over him.
He looks up only to see a pair of ember eyes staring at him intently. He'd recognize those eyes anywhere, however, seeing them so up close in a much bigger size than he's used to, is kind of terrifying.
"H-Hera," he addresses the cat. A giant, orange perser cat Tommy had adopted from the Cat Café. "You wouldn't eat the man who's been feeding you, would you?"
Hera just stares at him. Tail curled around her giant paws, so Buck relaxes slightly, because he knows cat language. Have made sure to do all kinds of research to make sure he can get a read on Hera. She looks calm right now. Curious as she gets into loaf position to stretch out her neck to sniff on Buck as she purrs. She's a silent purrer, but now when Buck is mouse-sized, he can hear her loud and clear, just as he can feel her tongue dragging through his hair with what feels like a thousand knifes.
"H-hooly, that's sharp! Ease it with the tongue, okay? I'm not a kitten. Or prey," he adds, for good measure. Hera continues to purr and rub her nose over Buck, and next thing he knows, he can feel the cat's jaw grabbing the back of the collar of his t-shirt and he is suddenly being lifted and carried away as Hera with ease leaps off the table and proudly runs off with Buck dangling in her jaws.
Buck yelps loudly, but Hera ignores him and leaps up to one of the wall-mounted cat-perches that she never uses. Hops up to the top one near the ceiling and sets him down and leaps away again.
"Oh, that's real nice! See if I'll make you more treats in the future!" Buck calls after her, but she ignores him and disappears into the kitchen.
So Buck is on his own again and Tommy is nowhere to be seen, probably still talking to Chimney on the phone while Buck is so high up on the air with no way of coming down. "It's gotta be a curse," he mutters and starts pacing back and forth on the perch. "Or it's a dream. This can't be real—"
"Hera? What did you to do Evan?"
He stops his pacing when he hears Tommy's panicked voice coming from the kitchen.
"I'm here, Tommy" He calls out, and frowns. His voice may not sound different to himself, but it might not carry as strongly as it would if he were regular sized.
Tommy might not have heard him.
And Tommy thinks he's been eaten by his cat.
Well, fuck.
He can hear Tommy's shaky voice calling for him, and Buck tries to call back, but there's no response, so he fears his suspicions might be right regarding his voice. He cannot let Tommy think he's been eaten!
Buck stares at the nearest perch on the wall. It's a bit farther down, but that one has a bridge attached to another perch. If he can somehow jump to the lower one without getting hurt, he might be able to get to Tommy.
He starts assessing the distance. It's further away than he had hoped, but he thinks he can make it. No. He has to make it.
He hears Tommy again, and he sounds close to tears when speaking on the phone. God, what is Chimney thinking, hearing all of this?
It doesn't matter. Buck needs to make a move, now. No more thinking. No more assessing. He braces himself. Starts to run over the perch and takes the leap and just about makes it! Sure, he's dangling on the edge, but at least he didn't fall!
He manages to get himself up and doesn't waste any time running over the bridge between this and the other perch. Once there, he's close enough to make a jump to the back of the couch, so he does exactly that and lands roughly. Can feel himself lose his balance and roll down the back of the couch to one of the cushions. How is this real? He asks himself.
"—Do I sound like I am joking, Howie? I know what I saw, this isn't some— I would never—" Tommy strides into the living room, looking devastated. Buck lets out a pained noise and calls for him again, and this time, Tommy pauses. "H-hold on, I thought I heard something," he tells Chimney on the phone, and Buck perks up.
"Tommy! I'm right here! On the couch!"
It works. Tommy can hear him, because he is now looking right at Buck and he lets out a strangled, sobbing sound and ends the call to rush over to Buck.
"Evan! Oh, Evan, I thought you—"
"Hera wouldn't eat me," Buck huffs, and he clambers up and into Tommy's cradled hands carefully. "You know her. She wouldn't harm a fly."
Tommy sniffs and Buck's heart breaks a little. "H-hey. I'm here, okay? All in one piece. M-maybe tinier than you're used to, but, uh… we can still make it work, right? You still love me?"
Tommy huffs out a half-laugh-half-sob and brings Buck closer to his face.
"Oh, Evan. Don't you know that size doesn't matter?"
Buck grins and walks across Tommy's fingers to cradle his arms around Tommy's nose in a hug and plants a kiss on the top of his nose.
"Try telling yourself that when I try to summit the tip of Mt. Kinard tonight."
"Evan!"
"What, like you haven't thought about it?"
"Evan, I thought you got eaten a minute ago."
"So now you get to think about it," Buck grins and settles down comfortably onto Tommy's palm.
There is no explanation for how it happened, or why, but when Buck wakes up the next morning, he is back to his regular size with Tommy's arm curled around him and Hera curled up between their heads on their pillows.
bucktommy + “I told you this would happen”
"I told you this would happen!" Tommy hisses against the back of his neck. Buck rolls his eyes and sends his elbow back into his ribs.
"Shut up, he'll hear you."
Buck holds his breath for a moment, presses his ear against the door, straining to hear anything outside of the closet he and Tommy have themselves chest to back in in their hastes to hide.
"I think the coast is clear," He whispers. Slowly, he turns the knob and cracks the door open to try to peek out into the hallway.
"Found you!" He winces as Theo's shriek of excitement echoes down the hallway. "Found you, found you! Found both of you!"
Tommy huffs out an indignant sigh and pushes Buck out into the hall so he can get out as well. Like Theo never would have thought to check the linen closet he claimed first if Buck had never bullied his way in there with him.
"Alright, we'll let you hide, but remember the rule–"
Theo is gone before Buck can finish and he turns to look at Tommy with anxious eyes.
"You locked all the windows, right?"

It’s a *Toy* Story 🤠
You knew it! My new original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 will be yours on June 5th. I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie. I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?
You can pre-order now exclusively on my site and catch Toy Story 5 in theaters June 19th ☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️
