Imaan Hamman on the cover of Dutch Vogue’s September issue is filling me with MAJOR Dutch Pride! It’s not the model’s first September cover. Last year she graced the cover of Vogue US along with a few other of her supermodel friends. But a solo cover I imagine just means so much more, along with several features inside the magazine.

Where many feel still feel that there’s a lack of diversity in the fashion industry, Vogue is making sure we know where they stand. With Beyoncé on the cover of US Vogue’s September issue this year, and Jourdan Dunn being on the cover of British Vogue back in February, the magazine is sending a clear message. And I am liking it.
