I decided to start a new save running this lovely B&B by @franglishetchocolat (using Go Here to set room prices, check-in hours, etc) and also set up the kitchen using @phoebejaysims's Restaurant mod:

The kitchen being open only a few hours a day was making us no money, therefore I also set this other renovation by Tedhi as a high-end restaurant (which has Mr. Wolff as it's proud owner) and got Irene a second job as a greeter/waiter so she wouldn't have to live on the streets:

and then baby girl decided she wanted THE most unemployed man of Sunset Valley, Stiles McGraw (born anew by this banger sv makeover).

Thus ending our semi rags to riches and condemning me to a gameplay of generational poverty.
