It can take a couple of hours or even a couple of days to establish trust with somebody and for you to feel comfortable enough to expose yourself in front of people. It’s supposed to be a kind of rebellious thing to do, acting, it’s not really. The idea of going into a room and pleasing people and giving them what they want is not something that come’s naturally to me, it’d be great if it did, but it doesn’t. And I certainly haven’t gotten any better at it over 25 years.
