Fantastic. Fragging fantastic. Of course First Aid would get stuck alone dealing with Soundwave, of all mecha. Static crackled from his throat as he lay there on the ground, optics blown wide. 

“I r - really hope you don’t plan on exploiting me,” First Aid finally uttered out weakly. 

KnockOut takes a moment to consider this. He really should be, or was that his pride talking? No, the wreckers were wary of him for good reason. Had seen fist hand just what he was capable of. Known first hand the cruelty he was capable of. The others followed the lead of those who knew best. Yet the stories had likely reached even them. In the end, he could hardly care. It didn’t matter.

“Mm,” he hummed as he carefully set down the tool he held. Changing it out for another. “In that case, if you’re going to insist, you might find me more agreeable if you choose your topics of conversation better.”

“Sure,” First Aid muttered, still a bit offended. But he kept his thoughts private on that matter. He set aside the tool with a little sigh. He rubbed his forehead. Primus, all of this was giving him a headache. 

A warning appeared on his HUD warning him the he’d dropped several degrees in temperature. Having to force himself through withdrawls was not something KnockOut had considered in his plan. His engine rolled,rumbling just a little louder. He missed his heat lamps. 

“So I thought I had, yet you still seem to think it appropriate to say such strange things to me. Aren’t afriad of the scary Decepticon medic?” He vented harshly with a roll of his eyes. Tone mocking the distrustful rethoric of the wreckers.

First Aid’s optics narrowed, but he didn’t comment. He considered ignoring the mech, turning away from him and walking off. He didn’t want to fight within the medical staff. That would lead to an incredibly poor team and in this war they needed to be right on top of things. 

KnockOut finally deemed the scalpel clean, setting it neatly back down in it’s place. Only once he’s happy with where it sits does he turn to look at First Aid. Barely, not even focusing on the other really. His optics are half-closed, && the brilliant red is fuzzy on the edges. “Don’t sound so disappointed, I’m not here to be friends with any of you. I’m here because I’m quite bored with this whole war, I’d like to see it end soon.” With that said he picked up a set of forceps, meticulously cleaning them with the worn rag. Bulkhead was on guard duty tonight, one of the last mechs he wanted to deal with so he wasn’t about to give up this simple task. One that would keep him free instead of locked up like a dog that couldn’t be trusted to stay in the yard.

“I could turn that back on you, && say you know nothing of what I’ve gone through. I’m the wrong mech if you’re in the mood for a spark to spark chat, goodness knows why you decided to drop your inane thoughts on me in the first place.”

"𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗢𝘂𝘁." First Aid rolled sky blue optics as he regarded the red mech. It’s so funny, how differing the three medics were. Between Knock Out’s sarcastic dramatics, Ratchet’s irritated impatience, and First Aid’s childish naivety, the Autobot base definitely had it’s fair share of personalities.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘆, 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸. The expression on First Aid’s face was one of initial shock of what he heard . . . and then contemplation. 

For all the wild things that Whirl said, some of them had a startling coherency - even if it was slightly horrifying. 

“Perhaps,” the medic mused, blue optics dimming in thought. “I wouldn’t be surprised, after all the destruction and millions of years of war. However, if Primus hides from us, then perhaps this is Hell. And then we are beholden to no gods.”
