Babe, it’s just a coma. Trust me, it will be fine, you have no need to worry. The guy can use the rest anyway. [takes the hug as an encouraging sign and smiles, hugging aidan back] Sure, babe. I’ll think of something else, don’t worry. 

[Aidan felt relief from what sounded like Max giving up on the plan] Thank you. [pull his head back lean up to kiss boyfriend's sweet lips] We'll find another way. I promise.

[frowns, confused to Aidan’s reaction] Why not? What’s the big deal, it’s just one guy! Your friend Charlie will be fine, so what’s the problem? Aidan, think about it, we can be out of here, we just have to take one obsticle out of the way. 

Because it's wrong Max! [his tone slightly higher than his usually calm] I will do anything for you. Anything...but I won't have someone's blood on my hands. Or yours. I can't build a happy life at the cost of someone else's. That's not going to change. [wrapping his arms around Max tightly] Can we please just let this go? Can we please just find some other way?

I’ll do it, it’s fine. I don’t mind at all. [his shoulders relax when Aidan touches his face, the peacefullness trying to kill out the fine roaring inside of him] Aidan I’ve been here for years… There’s no other way to stay out of their sight unless that guy is out of the picture. [grabs Aidan’s wrists and places a soft kiss on one of them] It will be fine, we can just slip him in a coma. 

[hearing him talk made Aidan wish he never brought up the subject of leaving. His skin warmed from the touch of Max's lips but he pulled away] Max stop it! I don't want to talk about this anymore. [fear of what Max might do etched in his tone] Please...if you really care about me...don't hurt him.

[hits the wall behind aidan with a fist, furious at the refusal] Why the hell not?! It’s just one person and we can be out of here in no time, safe and sound, without having to worry they will come after us. Aidan, come on. 

[flinches at Max hitting the wall, closing his eyes] No Max. I'm not a killer. And I won't condone killing someone innocent either. [feeling the heat of anger pouring off of Max caused Aidan to finally look up at him, his hands going to Max's face. Trying to calm him] Please...don't ask that of me. We'll find another way.

[hands were on Aidan’s shoulders as he started to talk, overtaken by the idea of getting out of this place] No one can hurt us if we’re together, Aidan. I control metal, they can’t hold me down when I flip my shit. Never could, that’s why they leave me to do what I want. And you, you control water. If we’re together they can’t stop us. They won’t be able to hunt us down if their little tracker is dead. We can do it, babe. [his eyes were wide and dengerously shinning] 

[for a moment Aidan considered it. A life on the run with Max sounded far better than a life here at the Manor with people he had no desire to be around. His eyes lighting up wide and eager...but the light quickly died. If he could he would've pulled away. Being backed into the corner he had nowhere to go so instead he looked away] No Max. I told you. As much as I want to be free of this place and just be with you...I won't do it at the cost of my friend's life.

… Okay, maybe I started it too, but it wasn’t intentional. [shakes his head and lifts up Aidan’s face] Everyone in this place is a complete moron. I won’t hurt you, Aidan, I would never dare. I care too much for you. [bites his lip and looks over his shoulder, then backens Aidan in the corner of the room and whispers] We can do it, babe. You and I. We can run off if you want us to. 

[hearing Max say he'd never hurt him seemed to make the echos of everyone else's voice in his head die out. Holding on to his boyfriend's words and putting all his faith into him. When he was backed into the corner his thoughts were expecting something lustful to happen. Instead he too looked around as if someone was watching and spoke in a whispered tone] Do you...meant it? Do you think we could just go? They'd hunt us down Max....or worse. [clinging to Max and pulling him closer] I don't know what I'd do if you were hurt.

You’re the one who started this time! Ugh, look, I just… I don’t want to fight. You mean more to me than anyone, that’s all you should think about when doubting me. [small smile and he gives Aidan a light peck on the lips] No, it’s not. I hate this place. 

Yes....I started this. [shaking his head with a roll of his eyes] And I'm not doubting you Max. It's just....I hate how everyone looks at us and believes I'm going to get hurt by being with you. [he scoffed] Even you thought that at one point...but all I want is just to be happy with you. Away from them all. [eyes dropping as he spoke just above a whisper] I wish we could just leave it all.

[sighs and does as requested, walking inside the room and makes the door close using his power. When he turns to Aidan, Max finds him dangerously close] Aidan… [he’s cut off by the kiss, and closes his eyes as he tastes Aidan’s lips, soft and delicious] I missed you, too. 

Max I don't want to fight about this. I don't want to fight about anything with you. [his fingers locking into Max's, gripping him as if he were something that would easily slip away] Is it irrational to think we can just lock ourselves away here and never go out into the chaos out there? [he chuckled only half serious. Or 60/40]
