Okay fine, I'll do it; I'll write the Doctor Who Christmas special and undo the insane decisions that RTD made.
Picking up where RTD shit the bed: Space, the Joy Star, FIFTEEN has just regenerated into DOCTOR BILLIE PIPER.
DOCTOR BILLIE PIPER feels her face: "I know this face. I know this face like-- ACHOO!" A huge sneeze. "Like the aorta of my second-- ACHOO."
Klaxons and warning sounds from the Tardis. DOCTOR BILLIE PIPER turns inside, but it's still dark from FIFTEEN'S farewell, only flashing lights and sirens to lead her way.
DOCTOR BILLIE PIPER stumbles toward the centre of the TARDIS, but can't get her hand on the controls before another sneeze rockets out of her--
And regenerates her into DOCTOR DAN LEWIS, another former companion. "What on Proxima Centauri-- "
The famous TARDIS transit noises begin, and the TARDIS banks. DOCTOR DAN LEWIS grabs for a railing. Everything tilts, and he is suspended sideways--
Before losing his grip and falling backwards out the TARDIS doors.
DOCTOR DAN LEWIS lands on UNIT the helipad, the TARDIS already fading off into time. "No, no!"
As the TARDIS fades completely, DOCTOR DAN LEWIS turns to find SHIRLEY BINGHAM and KATE LETHBRIDGE-STEWART awaiting him.
Inside UNIT, DOCTOR DAN LEWIS is informed that they have a cold-- "Stress, you know. You ought to take a holiday one of these centuries." The virus is interfering with the Doctor's regeneration, and appears to be channelling him into people he's met instead of crystallizing a new form.
DOCTOR DAN LEWIS objects-- and sneezes into DOCTOR ADELAIDE BROOKE.
"Maybe you have something there. What's the cure?"
"It's a cold, Doctor: time and rest."
DOCTOR ADELAIDE BROOKE realizes that UNIT is decorated for Christmas, however. "I can't stay here. It's a holidays. You should all be at home-- ACHOO-- frolicking in the glorisome warmth of your families."
KATE LETHBRIDGE-STEWART demurs, extraterrestrial business could crop up at any moment, and besides--
"No," DOCTOR ADELAIDE BROOKE overrules her. "You and this agency have more than enough on your plates to deal with rather than looking after me. I've got somewhere I can go... I will need a ride though."
DOCTOR ADELAIDE BROOKE takes a black cab through London, a rocketing sneeze partway through the ride turning her into DOCTOR JACKIE TYLER. "I hope I'm not going to go through the whole family."
DOCTOR JACKIE TYLER arrives at hospital. The CAB DRIVER, a UNIT agent, checks in with her: "We've called ahead. They have a bed ready--"
"And I'll be sure and get plenty of rest and tea. Honestly, it's just a cold; it's not the end of the world."
FROM A WINDOW OF THE HOSPITAL: a child watches DOCTOR JACKIE TYLER.
