South Dakota - 0

North Dakota - 0

Iowa - <5 (estimate)

Idaho - 0

Nebraska - <10 (estimate)

Kansas - 3

Oklahoma - 0

Ohio - <10 (estimate)

Utah - 5

Texas - unknown

Florida - unknown -*records show that since 2013 only 11 transgender girls signed up to play sports statewide.

*The above numbers were for High School age girls.

As of 2023, there were 36 collegiate transgender athletes in the country.

I have been curious with exactly how many girls were affected when these states implemented this ban. As you can see, it wasn't exactly the number that Republicans made it out to be. I assumed all this time that a number of the states implementing bans probably didn't even have any trans individuals playing sports in them. I was correct.
