Day 7: I was recently inspired by an image I came across of the great American actress and singer,Nichelle Nichols. Initially what interested me was the contrast, softness, and timelessness of the image itself but as I learned more about who the lady in the photograph was, I came to find out that she was one of the first African American woman to be an actress in a major television series, playing a role other than a servant. So today, Day 7 I dedicate to her.
