Christian and Catholic Americans donât recognize Christianity and Catholicism outside of America.
Migrants are âothersâ. Their children and families have no value. Those who bring harm to migrant children and families are championed by Conservatives and Republicans.
Trumpâs hateful words are NEVER condemned by his own party.

New research finds an accurate way of diagnosing fibromyalgia and differentiating it from other related conditions. Using blood samples and innovative techniques, scientists have detected a "molecular fingerprint" that is unique to the condition.
The fact that the signs and symptoms of fibromyalgia coincide with those of other disorders makes it challenging for doctors to diagnose, and often people living with fibromyalgia âare still sometimes made to feel like itâs all in their head.â
But, new research may have found a way to rectify this. Scientists have managed to detect fibromyalgia in blood samples and differentiate it from other similar conditions.
Kevin Hackshaw, a professor in the College of Medicine at the Ohio State University in Columbus and a rheumatologist at the universityâs Wexner Medical Center, led the new research.
Itâs an extremely popular opinion among middle and upper class white people.
Also, aside from this completely uneducated reasoning as to why minimum wage was createdâŚ
I can guarantee that there are tens of thousands of teenagers who have to pay bills and help support their families or are the only financial supporter to their family.
not to mention, if minimum wage was meant solely for high school students how would the business survive when students are in school?? are they only supposed to be open on the weekend? this âunpopular opinionâ makes no sense.
Unpopular fact: in the 70s a minimum wage worker could pay for college with a summer job.
Unpopular fact: minimum wage was conceived to be the minimum amount of money a person would need to support themselves and their families when working 40 hours per week.
Unpopular fact: minimum wage was created because working men and women in this nation foughtâfiguratively in the negotiating room and literally in the streetsâfor a fair working wage, with sweat and blood and tears and death.
Unpopular fact: military service personnel are not the only people who have fought and died for your rights as American: labor leaders and common workers laid down their lives so that you could have a 40 hour work week instead of 80 hours; so you could have a 2 day weekend instead of none; so you could have lunch and bathroom breaks instead of going hungry and shitting your pants,; so you could have a three day weekend in September.
Capitalism would NEVER dole out basic human decency without literal human sacrifice.
A little louder for the ignorant and stubborn with their fingers plugging their ears.
The Real Scandal of Donald Trump
We may never know for sure whether Donald Trump colluded with Vladimir Putin to obtain Russiaâs help in the 2016 election, in return for, say, Trumpâs help in weakening NATO and not interfering against Russian aggression in Ukraine.
Trump and his propaganda machine at Fox News have repeatedly conjured up a âwitch huntâ and maintained a drumbeat of âno collusion,â which already has mired Robert Muellerâs report in a fog of alt-interpretation and epistemological confusion.
Whatâs âcollusion?â Whatâs illegal? Has Trump obstructed justice? Has he been vindicated? What did Mueller conclude, exactly? What did he mean?
The real danger is that as attention inevitably turns to the 2020 campaign, controversy over the report will obscure the far more basic issues of Trumpâs competence and character.
An American president is not just the chief executive of the United States, and the office he (eventually she) holds is not just a bully pulpit to advance policy ideas. He is also a moral leader, and the office is a moral pulpit invested with meaning about the common good.
A presidentâs most fundamental responsibility is to protect our system of government. Trump has weakened that system
As George Washingtonâs biographer, Douglas Southall Freeman, explained, the first president believed he had been entrusted with something of immense intrinsic worth, and that his duty was to uphold it for its own sake and over the long term. He led by moral example.
Few of our subsequent presidents have come close to the example Washington set, but none to date has been as far from that standard as Trump.
In the 2016 presidential campaign, when accused of failing to pay his income taxes, Trump responded âthat makes me smart.â His comment conveyed a message to millions of Americans: that paying taxes in full is not an obligation of citizenship.
Trump boasted about giving money to politicians so they would do whatever he wanted. Â âWhen they call, I give. And you know what, when I need something from them two years later, three years later, I call them. They are there for me.â
In other words, itâs perfectly OK for business leaders to pay off politicians, regardless of the effect on our democracy.
Trump sent another message by refusing to reveal his tax returns during the campaign or even when he took office, or to put his businesses into a blind trust to avoid conflicts of interest, and by his overt willingness to make money off his presidency by having foreign diplomats stay at his Washington hotel, and promoting his various golf clubs.
These were not just ethical lapses. They directly undermined the common good by reducing the publicâs trust in the office of the president.
A presidentâs most fundamental responsibility is to uphold and protect our system of government. Trump has weakened that system.
When, as a presidential nominee, he said a particular federal judge shouldnât be hearing a case against him because the judgeâs parents were Mexican,  Trump did more than insult a member of the judiciary. He attacked the impartiality of Americaâs legal system.
When Trump threatened to âloosenâ federal libel laws so he could sue news organizations that were critical of him and, later, to revoke the licenses of networks critical of him, he wasnât just bullying the media. He was threatening the freedom and integrity of the press.
When, as president, he equated neo-Nazis and Ku Klux Klan members with counter-protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia, by blaming  âboth sidesâfor the violence, he wasnât being neutral. He was condoning white supremacists, thereby undermining equal rights.
When he pardoned Joe Arpaio, the former sheriff of Maricopa county, Arizona, for a criminal contempt conviction, he wasnât just signaling itâs OK for the police to engage in brutal violations of civil rights. He was also subverting the rule of law by impairing the judiciaryâs power to force public officials to abide by court decisions.
When he criticized NFL players for kneeling during the national anthem, he wasnât really asking that they demonstrate their patriotism. He was disrespecting their â and, indirectly, everyoneâs â freedom of speech.
In all these ways, Trump undermined core values of our democracy.
This is the essence of Trumpâs failure â not that he has chosen one set of policies over another, or has divided rather than united Americans, or even that he has behaved in childish and vindictive ways unbecoming a president.
It is that he has sacrificed the processes and institutions of American democracy to achieve his goals.
By saying and doing whatever it takes to win, he has abused the trust we place in a president to preserve and protect the nationâs capacity for self-government.
Controversy over the Mueller report must not obscure this basic reality.

Release the report, expose the Republican traitors.
Barr didnât READ the report, he SKIMMEDÂ the report, looking for his justification for protecting Trump!

âI learned a great deal about immigration as a child because my father came from Poland at the age of 17, without a nickel in his pocket, without knowing one word of English. He came to the United States to escape the crushing poverty that existed in his community, and to escape widespread anti-Semitism. And, it was a good thing that he came to this country because virtually his entire family was wiped out by Hitler and Nazi barbarism.â

âGet it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the track of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happenedâ -Dwight D. Eisenhower (1945) [750 x 829]
The worldâs smallest park is the size of a flower pot and sits in the middle of a Portland, OR, intersection. Mill Ends Park was supposed to be a light pole, but when the pole never showed up, a journalist planted some flowers, wrote leprechaun stories about it, and started calling it âthe Worldâs Smallest Parkâ. 2 years later, it became official: the park was dedicated on St. Paddyâs Day, 1948.
