At last, here is the finished painting! I started this one while demonstrating oil painting during art fairs last fall and finally got to finish it between commissions. I've wanted to paint wisteria for a long time and thought it would fit the mood for this sweet scene.

Work in Progress Wednesday - getting some work in on a personal piece while my commissions are drying between layers. I've painted tiny versions of Jupiter and Saturn before, as seen from my telescope, but like this before. This is going to be the more refined version of that one acrylic raven painting I did a while back. What planet do you think I'm painting here? 🤔

Been a looong long long time since I last did a proper portrait. And what's this? I'm stretching my own canvas again? I have to admit it is nice going back to the fundamentals once in a while :) This portrait was commissioned by one of my clients, I will be documenting its progress here as I go along.This is the first layer, I like to start with a nice brunaille (or dead layer) when painting the human figure.

An acrylic painting from a while back, it was made for a white elephant gift exchange but I loved the initial idea so much I'm currently working on another version of this painting in oils. Stay tuned!
