it’s that time of year again~!

the time of year where my brain decides to keel over and refuse to do anything productive with regards to writing. it sucks! so i’m putting my blogs on a hiatus for now, mostly to get back into things on a slow pace.

❝ this… isn’t what it looks like. ❞ actually, it was EXACTLY what it looked like —— a failed attempt at hopping a barbed wire fence into what was no doubt PRIVATE PROPERTY.      ( and not his own, at that. ) the only thing stopping the phobia from tearing down the impromptu trap in a fit of frustration was his jacket —— or the way that it had snagged on the pointed metal, to be specific. vain was by no means an accomplished tailor; if he struggled, there was a very good chance he would end up adding a new tear to HIS PRECIOUS COAT. that simply wouldn’t do.

geez. talk about instant karma.

          “there you are. you might want to be more careful about the fences you climb...for quality reasons.” the callers to the society weren’t exactly great about keeping everything up to snuff with regards to safety, even in the best of times. it was a surprise the coat (   or the young man   ) hadn’t sustained worse. “as for favors, i suppose i could use a hand this time, considering our destinations were the same.”

          not that kyrie intended to use the young man as bait ---- he wasn’t one to stoop to such low tactics. no, he’d figure something out once he managed to get a good look at their target. from what he knew, it was a hostile demon that had already attacked one of the workers here, and so maybe two heads would be better than one in this case.

a collection of sentence starters that make me feel sad.
