Mastery feat. Alexander

As I finish up the third class in my master’s degree, I find myself at a confident middle ground, one that I feel can be felt by most of my fellow students. My three goals I expected to get from Digital Storytelling and Branding included Defining a bands voice, use storytelling principles to strengthen a business, and to Articulate my own personal brand for real world use. I feel that these were all things I got accomplished while taking the course, but I was unable to completely articulate my personal brand all the way to where I wanted it to go. I do feel that I have the tools necessary to complete it, and I look forward to doing that in the future. As this course could help me on my master’s final project, I feel that it’s helped me in a lot of ways. I think that to be able to understand these concepts will truly help me on my final Internet Marketing Plan. If nothing else, to be able to analyze the current brand I am looking at (Odysseydowntown.com) and to be able to talk about the branding elements include a lot to a future Marketing Plan. That is a landmark of achievement in completing my degree. While not only understanding these things, I feel really excited to be able to utilize this training in the future too!

First course done! Wow! I can’t believe it has already been a whole month since I started Internet Marketing Fundamentals. The main goals of the class that I had outlined were as follows: Analyze influence of Digital Marketing, Use the internet to help an organization to be a strategic force on the web, and Find the best way to success in an ever changing marketing world. I learned a lot, I understood these things through a rigorous course of connected assignments. I know so much more about the basics of marketing, through Keyword Research, Click Fraud, and Outbound vs Inbound Marketing to name a few. I learned how to better know and understand key terms like SEO, PPC, and SEM while also analyzing the benefits of these things for the business I personally chose to analyze. I was also really excited to figure out how best to market the business with keyword research, and the use of key-phrases. I think this all rings true to the original three goals that were set out for the course.
